An enjoyable life at SKASC

The main aspect that made me choose this course is the experience that we get hands on in laboratories and projects. The curriculum does not prepare us the best for real world applications but may be more than sufficient enough for further academic pursuits. Exams are not too difficult. 2 mid semester exams. And end semester exams

Campus placements starts from 4th sememster. A lot of top companies visit and provide training too. Average package is 3 lakhs per annum. Highest is 5 lakhs per annum. About 75 percentage of students applying for placement make it.

Per semester fee is 62500. Admission fee is 9000 one time only. Scholarships are accepted and available. Semester fee includes laboratory, materials, tution and development. Arrear fee and extra credit course fee is to be paid according to our selection.

Not much happens in terms of festivals but within departments events do happen. Every department have their own inauguration days anf conferences. They also conduct department only culturals. The year ends with department closing.

Rooms have an average of 7 people per room. Every person gets a cot and storage. Laundry and mess fees are included in hostel fee. Tea or coffee is provided every morning and evening with snacks in the evening.

I also applied to PSG CAS. I did not get a confirmed admission. I chose SKASC next to PSG CAS relatively to reputation and review. The reason i missed admission in PSG CAS was because i missed the minimum total marks by 2.

Faculties are quiet friendly and easily approachable. The same applies to heads and deans of all departments. There are 2 mid semester examinations in between the semesters. About 5 students fail to clear the exams. Course curriculum is just a summary of the post graduate courses of the same subjects

Hangout spots include food court, library, grass lawns and parking spaces. The campus has a gym a number of cafeterias and food courts with many food stalls. Classes are from 9.30 to 3.45. Hostel is decent too. Safety is always guaranteed.
