The unfiltered life of Chandigarh university.

If talk about the curriculum are here mostly feels like book based and they provide workshops and other events to gain practicle knowledge but you will to try your hard to improve your skills if you are looking for the placement from here. The difficulty level is mostly between medium to hard like if you are paying attention in the claasroom you can easily score well in all exams.

College helps in to getting internship in different roles in companies like TCS , Assenture , Mahendra etc, in all sectors like managment to engineering and nursing but you will be allowed only from 4th semester and stipend salary should be from 15k to 20k montly then college will give you theNOC for that.

From 3rd year students are eligible for the campus placement here and need to maintain their score 7.5 CGPA to get better opportunity for different company. Some of the companies who visits and give placement here are Amazon , Microsoft , Adobe ,Mahendra , TCS , Accenture etc are well known here.They offered average of 4 lpa to highest 50 lpa. Even students also craked very good placement from by offcampus with upto 60 lpa.

The fee structure here in CU is semster wise for General BE-CSE means without specilization , for one semster it costs 1.36 lakh and their will be Examination fee of 2500 two times , so for overall for one year it cost 3.7 lakh without any scolorship and with scolorship its up to 100% as your score in the CUCET exam. In only semester fee abd there is no scolorship for Hostel fee and this is for most cheapest hostel here 5 seater non-ac.

Campus life here suffers most as the scedules are hectic starts from 9 AM to 4PM , at the top rules are very strict here and if talking about any thing related to studies and activities related to here are very acessesable here cause the library is very well eqipped and well meintend there are veriety of books here from technical to litarary you can find every thing here.College also very focused on Cultural and extracurricular activities they spend alot on students and get so many recognitions in many state and national level compatations.

In hostel room college will provide a bed , study table , table , almirah and LAN port so you need to buy lan cable or router for using college wifi. Mess food quality is good here menus changes monthly basis here and if i talk about the 5 seater rooms they are most affordable here as they charge 1.06 lakh for it which include all meal , accommodation and other facilities. If you want to take rooms outside then Kharar is the best option for most of the students here who live outside the campus.

My JEE rank was not that good to get CSE in govn. colleges And i was able to crack interview of UGEE exam and in the wait for this exam the last date for VITEEE and NMIMS was passed so it was the only option for me to get admission here. And getting admission here in CU is very easy for engineering you need 60% in boards in PCM to be eligible for CUCET in any engineering course here.

The faculty to student ratio is good here their are 35 to 36 students in one batch at the top they also provided Mentors for each batch for all query and problems. All faculties here good like i am satified by their mathodlogy and they are very helpfull.Their are two mid semester exam and one Final end semester exam . Most of the students passes the exams as their are also assigment,case study and project marks are their and internals are enough to pass the exams.

Mess and cafeterias here in university is very heigenic. There are lots of brand outlets hereand they serves veriety of couisine here. Gyms and study rooms are well maintend. Hostel timings are not that much strick as you only need to give attendence in both biometric and written form taken by the wardens. You can take day pass valid upto 6PM without parents permission and night pass with parents permission. They hangout place are in mostly chandigarh which is approx. 1to2 hr from the college for proper location other wise it will hardly take 1hrs , there's rock garden , bird sanctuary , sukana lake etc.
