IIT BHU review

Infrastructure is poor but placements are better than many colleges which are having an excellent infrastructure at present. Security is not good enough due to open campus. Environment is quite natural due to trees and fields.

Course is basically divided in 8 semesters for B. TECH and 10 sems for IDD dual degree programmes.The course offered is strategically managed by the institute which covers the concepts of electrical engineering in detail and timely exams make the grip on the syllabus so one can take knowledge and also remember it for the betterment of himself. After passing from here one can say himself a proper engineer as he/she will have enough knowledge of the subject.

Placement record is one of the best at IIT BHU in comparison to all colleges in India. More than 250 companies come every year and offer different varieties of jobs to the student. So one has to be tension free if he wants a job. Packages are also good and they are branch wise Different. Last year we had an average package of 11 lacs per annum. And highest package was offered by uber International worth Rs. 1.53 crores p.a. Yes, people goto various internships in 3rd year.

COLLEGE EVENTS There are various events conducted in our college in all fields of interest. Name of the event are: 1. Spardha(sports): various teams from India compete. 2. Kashiyatra( socio-cultural): many events held specifically music, singing, fashion show. 3.Technex(technical event): all India teams come to participate.

Feasible because it is Income based.The tuition fee is around 1,00,000 per semester and extra 12000 for mess have to be paid by the student. It is a little bit inexpensive side but the facilities offered need that so overall it is feasible.

The scholarship is offered to those whom family income is less than 5,00,000 year or from reserved category. Other scholarships are provided by different schemes offered by great alumni network of IIT BHU.

Sports activities are excellent. The college has produced many medalists who represent our college in various intercollege. Labs are well equipped. RECENTLY PM NARENDRA MODI ANNOUNCED TO SETUP A SUPERCOMPUTER - "SHIVAY" IN OUR COLLEGE.

Hostels are not very good. Indian Institute of Technology, Varanasi is a residential and co-educational campus built on an area of 400 acres along with the objective of complete character development and through mentoring of students. It is known as the largest residential institute of Asia. But the facilities are not so good. Campus is open to all hence not secure enough.

Yes they are very helpful. Alumni network is very large in our college. Seniors are also very helpful, they just prefer to be called by their name, no "sir" or "bhaiya" is mandatory to call them if you are a junior.

Faculties are very experienced here. Each of the faculty is hired after going through certain tests and also they have to fulfill some basic criterion to apply for the job. So they have enough knowledge to give it to students. Faculties are well behaved also and they support students at each step.
