Course Curriculum Overview
I like biology especially zoology so I choose this course for my career. Google shows Jupiter degree college, Gangapada is the best and suitable place for completion of zoology honours degree. All the semester exams are held on the college campus, it comes under the Utkal university.
Fees and Financial Aid
At first the admission fees for SAMS is 5000/- , then Jupiter charges 30000 for admission. The year wise fees I paid is rupees 125000/-. After that per semester form fill up fees was 900/-. My other batchmates paid 135000/- , I got discount for my previous exam mark , on the basis of percentage obtained by students in their previous exam they reduce the fees for them. For bsc everyone can apply UG merit scholarship which is provided by state government every year, they select 5000 students who got 10000/- every month.
Campus Life
The function are overally good and the cultural management of this college was systematic and they include competitions like essay ( english, odia ), debate ( English,odia) , drawing, singing, dancing and give them prize in their functions. They celebrate all the festivals and all the occasions . They do function during teacher's day , annual function, Ganesh puja etc
Hostel Facilities
They gave 4 time food ( Breakfast, lunch , snacks, and dinner). In breakfast they gave idli, sambar, chakuli, bara , pakudi , chuda kadali, upma , masala upma etc In lunch they gave 3-4 items and every Saturday they gave jeera rice and they include dahi items in the lunch And during summer they gave chhass In dinner they gave both rice and roti In snacks they gave chat, golgappe , dosa and varieties of items
Admission
I applied For rajdhani college bhubaneswar for zoology as well as botany , ramadevi college for life science, utkal university for both zoology and botany, revensaw college for zoology , Jupiter degree college Gangapada, bhubaneswar for only zoology honours And I got selected in the Jupiter degree college
Faculty
In Jupiter degree college they should add more faculty. All faculties are good enough to teach more than the bookish knowledge Jyotsna mam is the best person I ever meet , her words reduce stress and give strength to read and read more
Night Life
Library system was good in Jupiter, they add separate library time in the time table, the hostelers are not allowed to go outside of college campus without parents approval and wardens permissions. We all Spent whole day and night in the hostel , they also don't allow girls specially for go outside from the hostel
