A Detailed Review of Our Local College

The timing of the classes also influenced my decision to choose this course as it gives me time for doing other things and side preparation if you're doing. The curriculum is prepared by the state education ministry which has recently been introduced. Having relevant subjects to the major subject would be very helpful.

from 3rd semester the students can decide to take in internships and take a break from the semester or do internships during long breaks given by college. many design companies have visited and made offers . highest would be 4.5lpa and average would be 1.5lpa 30 percent are getting placed . my plan is to do an masters program .

1st year - 37500 2nd year -37500 3rd year -37500 4th year -37500 fee is same for the four year course along with some scholarship which is given by the government if a student is eligible for it . the scholarship given is similar to the amount of tuition fee paid by the students or somewhat less than it.

As most of the students are from nearby state or local students the campus do offer somewhat exposure to the students.and for the fests the annual fest is somewhat good and fun . the library has range of books from foreign authors . recently the football competition between the department has been organised. the social groups do many activities which are for competition or regional level.

University of Delhi accepted my application form but the course which was given to me was not helpful in building my career so , for the time being I chose this college as it was the only local college which has a good reputation and teaching faculty among the other local colleges. yes I did get rejected by many colleges one of them was BHU in which I was given a college but it was an off campus college so I did not opt for it . Admission in the college was done by taking entrance test for which you had to be eligible with 50 percent and with different courses the criteria may vary . the cut-offs were high for non reservation students, exams were well organised.

Faculty to student ratio is manageable as per major class 2 teachers are allotted with weekly classes. some professors are very approachable some are not . liked the history HOD as he was taking 5 classes during which he was very approachable and helpful. Economics HOD have a different vibe as he is not lenient towards any reason given by students from the department. During 1st year 2 semester exams are held , and it is similar for all the years.

college gyms are open from morning 6 AM to evening 5PM. same for the library and public area . though cafeteria close early as students leave the college. famous hangouts places would be the quadrangle and sheds where most the students hangouts with friends. locality is safe as college is located at centre of city and nearby area are mostly commercial buildings so security is nice around the area.
