Insights of the BVM

Core focus on fundamentals : the inclusion of power systems, machines power electronics, control systems. Practice explanation: specially subject like power electronics. Project oriented learning: project and the internship influenced my decision. Areas of improvement like Curriculum, teaching methods . Exams are too frequently mid term exam in the time range of 1 month .

In the last semester by college internship offer is given which is based on the cpi. The company like solid works in ahemdabad and Baroda Surat etc. Likely 3-4 internship provided by college but other options like doing project in the college guideed by the faculty.

Placement is quite well in our college. Many companies are coming for placement drive in our college. Big companies like Hitachi, Adani, Alstom, Siemens, L&T or many others. Last year placement ratio is 55 students get placed out of 70 students. 80% student get placed.

Total Yearly fees is equal to 4800/- In this fee structure Tution fee 1800 (900*2 sem) and Misc. Fees is 900. University exam fees (? 175*per subject) is 2100. The fees of complete course is dependent upon subjects other fees (tution and Misc. Fees) are constant. There is scholarship called digital gujrat in which we get Post matric scholarship of 11800/- for hostel and academic combined (for OBC students)

The main event of the our college named UDAAN the event is of 4 days in the event cultural event, DJ night, technical events, non technical events. The event is in August mont. The classroom consists smart board. In the Sports our college is average.

In the first semester compalsary to take admission in the college hostel we are not allowed to leave in rented room pr pg exept those who are local. In the hostel one hostel is full facilities like food and accommodation but In second hostel no facility of food.

I choose this college over othe college because of following reasons. 1. The college rank is 4 or 5 in the Gujarat 2. The other colleges is not good in disciplines the bvm is famous for its disciplines. 3. Placement percentage is good. The admission process: it considers board exam plus gujcet exam and get ACPC Rank and through ACPC Rank I got admission.

Faculty members are quite good and experienced. Course structure is different courses are offered and number of courses are vary in different semesters Exam system includs two internal ( Mid term ) exam (30 mark) and one External (End sem) exam. Students are only allowed to end sem exam if the average of two mid sem is above 11 marks.

In the front of college very huge ground called shashtri medan of over university. So we chill out there after collage classes in the ground two basketball court and two volleyball court also cricket ground. Late night there are many places to chill out like at tea shoap or many others.
