Remarks

I have not apply to any other colleges than this college. The admission process was done by sending my 12 grade certificate and my transcript. The eligibility was 5credits and above for management including economic, accounting and mathematics. I was not given any exam on arrival. The overall admission process was good and not stressful.

Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

My class have 80 students and total strength in my specialization is 25 The ratio is 30:50. The culture is so diverse because have different set of religions and race. 90% of my classmates are Punjabis and 2 people are from Zimbabwe, 2 from Gambia and 1 from south Sudan. Peer learning takes place a lot in my class because my class teacher conduct quiz and group discussion Yeah we do have marks for class participation and it 6. Some do genuinely attend classes for learning but some come into the class because their parents want them to.

Internships Opportunities

2

My college didn't achieve 100% summer placement intership, almost 90% of international students did their summer internship online and we were asked to pay for that online course internship. I can say 10% of the students didn't have summer placement intership but some of us manage to do our intership on online mode. 70% of the students get paid for their summer placement intership in various companies but the payment varies from company to company. The average highest stipend is ₹50,000 and the lowest average is ₹8,000. My preferred company for the online intership is Udemy because it is more flexible compared to others.

Placement Experience

2

The final placement normal Star around June and it takes 30 days for it to get over. In my college, not everyone gets placement opportunity. Almost 60% of the students are unplaced, the college do charge the students that are unplaced to pay some amount of money and try and look for other companies where these unplaced students can be hired or placed. the highest CTC offered in my college is 15 Lakhs and the lowest is 2 Lakhs. TATA company is most preferred company as far as I am concerned, simply because the retention rate of their employees is very high which shows that there's job security in that company.

Fees and Financial Aid

My yearly fees is ₹1200000 as an international student. I'm not staying at the hostel and don't eat from the message. The total fee I will be paying for the entire course duration is going to be USD 45000 My groceries fee for each month is mostly and ₹4000. The school gives 50%scholarships

Campus Life

2.5

The college have basketball, table tennis, football and volleyball ground and all the equipment are provided by the college. The college also Gym and some facilities are there. Both the auditorium and library are up to standard. The library timing is from 9:00 to 4:30 . I haven't gone there for any research lately. The college is very Big Approximately 10minutes from hostel to the college. Relatives can't visit at night. There are food joints yes. There is not medical center Campus life is nice Most of student go to the canteen to eat. Cafeteria are not open at night they close at 4:30 Some students go to the campus at night for football and and training. I can't tell about that because I don't know. It's not much safe because it's a village. Khoshsis event. I don't know the name of the celebs. We have literary, event on air, adventures, and CSR clubs. I'm not part of any CSR club is the most important. I don't know of any

Hostel Facilities

2

Boys and girls hostel are separate and boys are not allowed to enter the girls hostel likewise girls. We have only one hostel for each of the genders and guest hostel is the best. Yeah rooms are allocated base on first come The hostel fee for us the international students is USD1050. THE FEES are all the same . Students are not allowed to leave hostel late at night. Hostel doors are closed at 8:00pm. The food is included in the hostel fee. Yes all the hostels have different cafeteria. Most of the students eat in the Guest hostel. I don't know because I have never eaten from the hostel food. The hostels are guarded maximum 3 gurads. We have 3 in a room , 2 and 1 in a room. I took the 3 in a room. There are AC, Fan, WiFi, study table, chairs, bed, mattress and guiza and cupboard. There is a room for tv for watching football and room for washing machine. There are 2 wash rooms in each hostel and they are always clean. 3 share wash rooms Most of the students stay in a PG And it's more conducive than than hostel

Exam Structure

I sent my documents to an agent who helped me with an admission in the college I didn't not take any exam on arrival at the college. But I was interviewed by the public relations officer on why I choose the school. The percentile range of exam 80-90%. One can get admission through linkedin

Faculty

2.5

The course curriculum is not difficult that's if you study. Yes some students fail exam due to lack of interest. The good aspect is the faculties teach so well And the bad aspect is the calculations subjects are somehow hard. In a semester we have 3 exams and in a year we have 6 exams. We have 4 lectures in a day with a timing of 1hr each subject. We Re normally free from 11:00 to 11:25. The teachers teach through PPTs. I admire my operations Research Teach because she knows her subject area very well and controlled the class. I like all my teachers. Each student should have 75% attendance and failure to have it, will not sit to the final exam. I have seen students been detained because of the less attendance

Mid cap to large cap, every company that can afford our students services are invited to our university for hiring students. Thus far nearly 500 organizations have been invited to our university and a good bit of placements percentage is also there. No students of our university recruited have come under fire and therefore the companies which have laid faith in LPU students have kept hiring year after year.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I went for CSe bcz it has best career scope. The curriculum is comprehensive but a bit heavy. It touches almost all topics but didn't go deep into latest tech like AI or Cloud computing, which was a drawback. Improvements? Definitely the teaching style. Some profs are good but many rush through the syllabus to finish it. They should include more project based learning instead of just theory exams. Exams are manageable. We have typical sem system. Timing is predictable but sometimes the schedule is very tight with no gaps between papers. Difficulty wise its okay, most students study a week before exams and manage to clear them.
