Likes

College infrastructure is very good. They maintain greenary in the campus.
College Central library is too modern. It is basically 3 floor building with all facilities.
I like the events organising in college.

Dislikes

Faculty is not good. Most of them are on contract basis.
College routine ruin your entire day. Too much time from 10 to 5.
Behaviour of office staff is very bad. They talk roughly especially with boys.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum needs to be updated. It is very old and irrelevant to today's technology. Although some courses are advanced and with real world application. Difficulty level is moderate to hard. Teaching methods needs to be improvement.

Internships Opportunities

College provide internship to everyone if anyone not get any internship from outside. It must be of 6 months duration. Companies offer roles like developer and tester, Associate Engineer etc. Some are paid internships and some are unpaid.

Placement Experience

Placement is ok ok. Not too good not too bad. Upto 70% of students get placed every year. Cognizant, Accenture, Tech Mahindra are some of the companies that visited. Highest package is of 9 lpa and low is 2.5 lpa.

Fees and Financial Aid

When I was in first year, Fee was 87000. Now after 3 years it is 95000 per year. So every year fee is increasing. Without EBC scholarship fee is 150000. With EBC it is 83000 per annum. Overall they are charging too much fees.

Campus Life

College infrastructure is very good. There are different types of technical as well as non technical clubs are present. College events are very engaging. Every year intra branch sport activities are conducted.

Admission

I choose this college because it is second best college in the district after Walchand. I don't want to take admission in Pune because I can't afford the expenditure. Admission process is through CET exam.

Faculty

Faculty members didn't teach well. They just declare the 40% of syllabus. Everyone pass the exam by watching YouTube before the exam. End semester exam is of 100 marks. Marking scheme depends on different teachers.

Night Life

I am doing up down through state transport so I don't have any idea about that. But my friends are doing gyms, night hangout, sharing their memories with us. Hostel Life is very enjoyable. Library is closed after 11pm.

An Honest Review

Placement Experience:

The Campus placement of VNIT Nagpur is good enough. Students of 7th and 8th semesters are elegible for campus placement. Many companies visited in the campus some prominent names were google, Microsoft, amazon, Goldman Sachs, and many core companies such as bajaj, HPCL,BPCL etc. the number of offers made was 760 in 2024 and placement percentage was around 80 percent.

Placement Experience:

The placements in my college are pretty good considering the Fact that mostly its the Top 2000-3000 students from Maharashtra that make it to this college. The average Package offered in the college is Around 11LPA while the highest package last year was around 48LPA. The names of the Top companies that have recruited students from my college include Adobe, Amazon and Mastercard. The placement percentage from the past few years has been above 90%. My plans after getting the Degree is either to continue my Cricket Career as a Proffesional or to become a Commercial Pilot.
