Course Curriculum Overview

4

As college is preparing us for puter world's. They have open collaboration with CEPT University. They mainly focus on the interest the each students have. The difficulty level of course is high as many students leave the course in 1st yr itself because of the pressure of course. We spend sleepless nights continuously. There's no sleep schedule for us. We stay all night in college when we have to do submission next day. Our faculties also stay there with us.

Campus Life

5

All kind of architectural books are available in our campus Library. It's just that we don't reach out to them much. We just had sports event in our college names as sportyfiya in the month of September. We have ganpati staphana in college, krishn janmshtami, annual Fiesta, fanny days like mismatch day, traditional day. Also our college organize one event called ART-DE-LA-IDEAS. where anyone can come and join. It's biggest art feast in Nagpur

Admission

I chose this college over others because it's near my home town. And when I was applying for college there was corona so I tried to apply near my home town so it gets easier for me. Also my consideration for this college was because of faculties I had here more about them at that time that they are much friendly and they also teach really good. The surrounding of college is good. That's why I chose this college. I chose this college over others because this college is only strict about studies and not for students personal life. There's so chill environment in our college. It feels like we are in resort for all day long. With songs. No faculty scold you for sitting anywhere in campus you can actually sip your coffee while discussing or attending classes. Because all the facilities here are architects they also understand the situation of students about there sleepless nights and about there struggles.

Faculty

5

1. Faculty to student Ratio is considerable in our college as there's enough faculty for 5yrs students.the relationship between faculty and students is more towards friendly side. We have made so many memories with our faculties in college and outside the college. We have very friendly environment in college 2. I like all of them as they all are best. We also like them because more of the faculty members are our seniors only who did graduation in our campus and then joined college as a faculty. 3. There's one sir in college I won't take his name but I can guarantee that no in the college like him because of his bad sense on humour. 4. There are exams depend on university syllabus according to subjects. There's no test exams we have in our college we give directly university exams.

Night Life

3

Our college is situated outside of city in outer ring road so there's only dhabba are available around and nothing much. We don't go there at night as it's risky to travel on those roads at mid night.

The frequency of exam is twice a semester and good enough. Guest lectures are good and helpful for the future preparation. There must be a change in teaching styles of the faculty and more site based experiments through the course for better understanding than only in class studies , the beauty of historical buldings made me wonder about this course

Placement Experience:

For architecure departments, usually there are no placements, but since this Institute is autonomous, they have startes conducting placements drive. Last year 10/12 students were placed in good firms all over banglore, pune, kolhapur. I plan on applying to different firms all over Maharashtra and would also hope to get placement via college since the packages that are offered are good. Placement percentage is anywhere between 12-15%. The highest package offered was around 5,40,000, average package for a architecture student would be-around 3lakhs.

Placement Experience:

There is no campus placement for architecture students. After completion of the degree, one can apply for jobs or opt for masters. Architects get an average starting salary of 20-25 thousand. The course is pretty expensive including college fees and printing prices. One can also open a private firm and earn enough money. There are very few open students getting placed. My plans after getting a degree are to apply for masters. For a teaching job, one must complete masters.
