LIFE AT SEA

The syllabus is standard, it has been there for a long time, still applies to the modern time, as architecture students we have a lot of time to practice design and to excel at it is our main aim, the syllabus exactly does that, we have design papers for all the semesters.

No one has been placed through the campus placements yet, as there is none. But, many of them have been placed in firms by attending interviews as the knowledge is good and some of them have done internships where they have been placed.

The fee structure is Rs. 1,48,416 for a year and there are other miscellaneous fees updated from time to time, which makes it Rs. 8.2 lakhs for the whole course (five-year full-time course). Students can avail education loans.

The college provides scholarships to students who are underprivileged or from a weaker economic background if they provide the necessary documents within the given date. Student loans are also accepted at the college.

As architectural students it is one of the unsaid laws that we need to get creative and do a lot of practice with the designs and stuff. We have wood workshops for that, we have a large auditorium-like space for multipurpose, cultural and other activities can be conducted here.

I got this course at SEA only thorough merit. I wrote NATA, JEE is also fine or any authorized entrance exam for architecture for that matter. The counselling process happens under the council of architecture and the candidate should have qualified all the criteria under them.

Our faculties are very inspiring, they are very approachable and friendly, some of them are strict, but there's nothing to bother about the all of them are unbiased, they keep the class lively, the classes are rarely boring. We also have visiting faculties who are performing in the field, they share their knowledge with us, it is very useful.
