Remarks

The infrastructure is improving and should be improved more, but there are more positive points in term of studies, staff, environment, etc. which overpower some negative points, and can be ignore. I will always recommend my College to any student seeking admission in Ideas, Nagpur

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Architecture is a vast course in terms of details, information, studies and a lot of extra curricular activities. You have to design, learn, interact, be attentive, and it is no doubt exhausting but a fun to study type course.

Placement Experience

3.5

Our College personally doesn't involve itself in internship programme but help us only guiding about it. I currently am doing internship at Mumbai, and getting 250 as stipend. But there is no placement process in our College.

College Events

4.5

Fiesta is the annual fest, we also celebrate teachers day, architecture day, independence and republic day, Garba, janmashtmi, kite festival etc. Our College also take part in NASA, which also is a architecture competition.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is a bit expensive, as it is a private College. The average fee of this 5yr course is 94000rs /yr. It is somewhat more, as we do have other expenses such as hostel, petrol, food and specially architectural stationary.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, minority student gets scholarship and some gets on caste basis. Some students on the basis of caste, doesn't pay a single penny also which irritate the other students. I don't know that this is the platform or not, but this should be stopped.

Campus Life

3.5

Extracurricular activities include trips, educational tour, site visits, documentation, etc. We do have some talks session, movies session, we work together at night time too. Because of all these, a interaction take place between senior, junior, which helps everyone to know themselves and improve on it.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors which are still there, or the ex- senior are so so nice with us. and so are we, they help us at any point of time be it studies or any other thing. Our College doesn't support ragging in any sort of level, but introduction of junior, help them in getting free in College.

Admission

Entrance test (NATA) and 12th %. I was a medical student but not got admission because of scoring less marks, but architecture was a course which I had on my mind from 11th STD. So I gave NATA, a entrance test in which I scored sufficient and good marks to be admitted in ideas College of Nagpur.

Faculty

4.5

They are really one of the best faculties Nagpur have. w. r. t architecture. Most of them are from, cept, spa which are renowned Colleges. they are friendly enough to interact with, and you can discuss freely with them.

The surroundings of the college give out a peaceful vibe, its a vast campus. It is located far from the city, from its pollution, one negative point about this is the commute from city to the college is very long and tiring.

I got this course at SEA only thorough merit. I wrote NATA, JEE is also fine or any authorized entrance exam for architecture for that matter. The counselling process happens under the council of architecture and the candidate should have qualified all the criteria under them.

Securing a decent non zero positive NATA score is the first and foremost essential thing to do while apply for this college, I secured 65% in my boards, we had to apply online and pay the fees, they will announce the date for admission/counselling later through a call letter.

The college is great but on the flip side of the coin, there is a lot of politics and partiality with respect to marking. Attendance, hard work, punctuality, consistence is not taken into consideration and is based just on the “appearance of the project”
