Course Curriculum Overview

I take my own decision to took this course. The curriculum prepared me for the real world proowas making as beautiful and exotic design in building. The teaching method was too good there wants no improvement in that method

I studying in 3rd year of b.arch my fees structure for per annum was 450000 . I wrote the scholarship exam named NATA and I passed There is some increase in fees structure per annum as 1000 to 3000 This is 5 year course

Campus Life

My is a one of the joyful campus . The festival named as dhruvawas soo much joyfully in the karpagam campus . There having soo much groups runned by college and as well as students also that improve students to knowledge extra

Admission

The reason I took this college was I in rural area I passed in NATA exam and this college is a deemed and named and having a experienced faculties in this course so I applied this college.Yhe admission process in our college was online and also in offline

Faculty

The faculties of my department is too experienced and knowledged. But some of them are soo partial and having backlogs to the students and showing that in markings.This b.Arch curse was 5 years course and fees structure was 450000 per annum

Night Life

Karpagam college hostel has gym inside the campus so the students in hostel can access the gym, the cafeteria inside the campus is soo big so that many students are eating in cafeteria so the preparation and serving of is too late. The nightlife of college joyful we form a group and play musical instruments and sing a song

Beyond your limits

Placement Experience:

Students can become eligible in their 8th semester which is also called PPO (Pre Placement Offer) where the number of students getting placed are very low or the students can get their placements in their 10th semester. L&T, Sanjaypuri architects, Zaha Hdid architects are the few companies that I know. In general there are 10-20 offers made. The highest package offered is 18LPA and average is 5.5LPA as per the latest data. 78-85 percent students get placed and the other 15 percent opt for further studies. Currently I'm not sure with my plan but I may do master degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The duration of the course is 5 years with 10 semesters in total. I think this is good period of time to learn architecture. Each semester has five theory subjects and one design subject. The design subject deals with designing buildings with given brief without any plagiagrism. The other five theory subjects are quite easy other than the subjects that involves maths, which requires practice and learning. all the nine semesters are quite conceptualized, whereas the internship semester gives an idea on how the real world of architecture industry works. Though the syllabus is old all over india, it might be for betterent if the practical learning is involved in all semesters.

Placement Experience:

Placement happens in the fourth year before the final semester. Multiple companies offers jobs like Google, Amazon, Instagram etc. Average salary package is around 50LPA 95 percent of students get placed in average There is no campus placement for architecture.
