Remarks

The teaching methods should be changed .. infrastructurehas stagnated...The hostel is food horrible .. there should be more focus on the practical works...and they should know that taking more responsibility is better

Course Curriculum Overview

2

It needs to get bit more field knowledge consisting courses rather than classroom subjects...The exam curriculum is 50% internal and 50% external type. The courses need to be modified according to the need of the hour

Placement Experience

3

Our college provides better placement opportunities than other Fisheries colleges...Yeah we are provided with internship in the final year of the course...Stipend can be better to encourage the students

College Events

2

Our college celebrates the as usual college day .ethnic day .cultural day....In addition to this we celebrate Independence day ... republic day...Ganesh Puja..sports activities are organized with more emphasis

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees structure in feasible...Just the hostel fee is not worth ..The rest of the course fee and everything is just fine..They take almost 20000 for a single year...So as there is better scope for the fee structure

Fees and Financial Aid

Our college specifically doesn't give us any scholarship ...Yeah they may help students to get loan facility...Rather the thing about scholarship gets complicated every single time..There is no transparency about it

Campus Life

2.5

Sports is the most preferred in our college... extracurricular activities include swimming...Every game has different charm..labs are well maintained...Just a need to be cleared there.. overall everything is better

Alumni/Alumna

Vast network..the seniors stlettlesn .mmm ...seniors do refer our names ...Based on their interaction with them make things easier...so we have heard about many people..let them give the uppet hand ...

Faculty

2

They need to connect to the students..and provide the proper idea about the course.. instead of babbling..And they need to learn how to pronounce the scientific terms..The theory classes they conduct are not so helpful

The curriculum isnt only theoritical but also has lot of practical insights which helps us gain onfield experience and knowlegde. The course could have been made a little less hectic for the students and a bit of breaks could have been added in between them. The exams are really packed and we get a lot of assignments.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our curriculum includes syllabus in regard to that of National Education Policy scheme where in we have 2 core subjects. I chose biotechnology and genetics since it something I really look forward to pursue as my career in the field. We had one subject as open elective which enhanced our curriculum since we could choose from various course every semester. The university exams however were conducted for 60marks as theory and 2.5 hours for the same which can be extended to 3 hours
