Remarks

Every university have its own pros and cons. But most of the environment and academics structure is very positive and university knows the priority very well. But the rules are very strict they most of time care only about id cards and attendence.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

As it is an university so there are so many courses for students. Almost every stream from engineering to medical, arts to multimedia, science to sports are available. Exam structure is basically planed by UGC a authorized commitee by govt of India.

Placement Experience

3.5

University provide great placement opportunity to their student as we know placement ate mostly depend on market trends but still chandigarh university provide good placement but the compitition is very high.

College Events

3.5

There are so many event celebrated in chandigarh university almost every week we have 3 or 4 events. Some of the events are Tech fest, CU fest, tashan notes, debates, sports events. Student got almost every type of events for their personal preference.

Fee Structure And Facilities

As chandigarh university is Private university so they provide good infrastructure , quality education and good comfortable environment but still we can say that fee structure is not too expensive but it is expensive.

Fees and Financial Aid

University also provide scholarship on the basis of merit in 12th class or they also conduct test named "cunest" specialy for scholarship. Loan facility are also available for students but it also depends on your academics marks.

Campus Life

4.5

Every extracurricular activities are in university from library to labs, games to theatre, dancing to singing, adventure clubs to social clubs. Sports like American football, cricket, gym, volleyball, basketball ext available.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Hostel infrastructure is very good. Services like wifi, laundry, canteen, gym are very good but hostel food services are quite average. But hostel are very comfortable because they provide 24*7 electricity and water.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network between senior and junior is very good this is mostly because every student is busy in their own work. Their is no major thing like senior or junior because universty created an environment of individualism .

Faculty

3.5

Faculty of collage is very supportive and understanding but sometimes it depends from person to person some are very good some are very average. But overall university have great faculty and most of them are well experienced

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum changes as per the need of the industry norms so that student can attain knowledge about the basics as well as the niche technologies. This is the aspect to choose the course and the lab work and continuous competitions help us with the industry trends. The management could be improved. The frequency of exams help us learn well and difficulty is between easy to medium.

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.
