- Infrastructure is good the class room are very good with advanced facilities like L1 class rooms
- The faculties are also very experienced here in gitam hyd
- Environment is very good in this campus you get a good library here.
Dislikes
- First of all this campus is located to far away from Hyderabad
- Hostels are good but very expensive compared to private hostels
- Food in the hostels are not nice here in gitam
Course Curriculum Overview
I have interest in computer science so i have choose btech in computer science engineering at gitam. The curriculum prepares us in many real life applications. Areas to improve is you have to work hard and not only the things you have learned in college but you have to learn some coding languages in home so you can get good skills The semester end exam has 2hrs time limit and it's difficulty level is moderate
Placement Experience
In 7th semester the placements will start slowly the companies will come to the campus. There are companies like Tech mahindra,accenture, EY-GDS,etc. Highest package is 15lpa by delivaroo Average package is 4lpa I dont know the exact number of students will get placed but yes approximately 50 percent will get placed imo. After degree i have to get placed in any IT company
Fees and Financial Aid
For me i joined the college in 2021 the fee is 300000 per year. But now the fee is increased for new joiners for them it's approximately 380000. For scholarship you have to get good marks in GAT ( Gitam Admission Test). You can get maximum 75 to 90 percentage scholarship if you score very good. To maintain this scholarship you have to get minimum 8 Cgpa in every semester
Campus Life
There will be one big fest call pramana which will happen for 3 days for every one year. There are many books and journals available in the library Each class will have Acs and projector Sports and extracurricular activities are good and well offered in this campus There so many clubs in the college like student life,kalakriti,etc
Hostel Facilities
You have the option to choose between ac and non ac, For ac and 4 bed room it costs around 1lakh per semester with food included. For non ac and 4bed room it costs around 80k per semester included food Registration process is easy you have to contact the reception in the respective hostel Meal quality is not good and taste is ok
Admission
I have applied to this college because i have not got good marks and rank in the Eamcet exam. So if i'm not getting a admission in top 10 colleges in telangana why joining the colleges in top20. It's better to join in a good university which has decent placements. Every one is eligible to apply for this college. To get admission in this college you have to clear Gitam admission test GAT
Faculty
Faculties are good in this clg. Maximum of the faculties are friendly to the students. Some good faculties are Shiva prasad nayak he is very friendly and good motivator and vani prasana is very good at teaching Data structures. Worst faculties are Amit Kumar who teaches physics he is the worst faculty i have faced in my life is some kind of physco and another worst faculty is bala Siddhula who teaches mathematics he show partiality towards girls. Whe have 70 marks for internals and 30 for sem end exam exam is moderate but it's easy to pass
Night Life
Both the campus and hostel has Gym available. There are total 5 canteens available in the college There are total 2 hostels boys and girls The college timings are 8-4 and last time to enter hostel is 9pm Canteens, library and ground are hangout places in the campus yes it is safe to roam at night
