Likes

A radiation testing facility has been set up and students of mechanical engineering can take hands on experience with it.
New and new teachers are recruited every once in a while.
Even the guest faculties deliver lectures of some note.

Dislikes

Some faculties are more busy with their own work and therefore they send their associates for lectures.

Course Curriculum Overview

Mechanical engineering is considered outdated but it isn't and therefore I took it as it needs revival and only students can do it. Radiation testing and likewise many such labs have been setup and we are given the best learning through our curriculum.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 80000 per year

Placement Experience

L&T, Bhel, Punj Lloyd and other mechanical related companies like Sail and Ongc too were available for campus placements. On and average the placements were provided to 70% students of Mechanical engineering and around a package worth 50-75 thousand monthly.

Fees and Financial Aid

MMUT is charging as like government colleges and giving facilities like private at a fees of just 80000. It's so unfortunate that people still opt for private universities where SC/ST students too don't get much of scholarship but at MMUT, they get flat 50% scholarship.

Campus Life

The area of the campus is huge and it's a full wi-fi zone. Also, the labs and all are redeveloping so soon we will have international quality labs. Sports facilities are like next thing to look upon and one can have as much fun as they can in teir-1 colleges.

Admission

Well MMUT is what I wanted and I got it. I have no regrets too as admission were fully merit based and old traditions of cut-off lists were given. So in a four lists were out and the final admission were confirmed. Yes, it all took a month long process but still good as it was fair.

Faculty

More than permanent we have private or guest faculties. However, guest faculties are more better in my eyes as they always deliver quality lectures. Exams are difficult as in UP nothing is free on the table.

Night Life

All students in general are pizza lovers and we have best pizza corner in The Space Pizza. The Aditya Restaurant is also quite good and so is street food near the campus. So, we have ample chocies as most options are easy on pocket.

After the lecture: Exploring the campus

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is well structured and keep up with the evolving trends of industry. It balance Theoretical and knowledge and practical application, helping students build a strong foundation in core subjects like programming mathematics and engineering fundamentals. The curriculum Includ Laboratory session Projects and tutorials that enhance understanding beyond the textbooks It also allows students to choose elective in later semester which adds flexibility and depth to learn. In terms of revevance, most subjects are designed to align with current industry requirements especially in field like computer science and electronics the inclusion of emerging technologies such as ai data science and web development makes it quite comprehensive. However a few areas could be improved such as integrating more industry based project and updating some older Syllabus to match modern tools and frameworks. Overall the curriculum is relevant ,comprehensive and career-oriented providing a solid base for both higher studies and professional development.

My Opinion about GL BAJAJ INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY AND MANAGEMENT

Placement Experience:

The student are available for placement from the starting of the 4th year of 7th semester. There's are lot of decent companies that come to our college like TCS, INFOSYS, MICROSOFT, CAPGEMINI etc The highest placement of my college is about 58 lpa and the average placement of my college is about 7.5lpa The 90 percentage of the students who participated in the placement are being placed rest are gone for their higher studies. My planned after getting my degree is to grab a decent package from the college and started my career.

Reality of Galgotias University

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for placements from the 6th semester. Recently Infosys visited our college, however the average and highest package was not yet declared but we have heard rumours that the highest package is somewhat around 30 LPA. The percentage of students getting placement is around 65%. My plans after getting this degree is applying for external placements as well.

Unfiltered review and reality of My College

Course Curriculum Overview:

This criteria for choosing the college was because of placements. The curriculum Is outdated and not as per the industry requirements. In 1st year we are taught only one language and which is of no use.... That is C. But in other universities, students are taught languages like java, C++, python in their 1st year. Teachers are good. I have no issues with them but I have issues with its curriculum. Exam are taken so much which are according to me good as they prepare as for university exams but as I consider placement point of view so students do not have enough time to prepare for their placements, learning new skills as we are supposed to study for exams otherwise we will have to attend extra exams and classes and will lose internal marks. So having many exams have both benefits and drawbacks.

The admission in the college for btech is strictly based on jee mains . Lateral entry facility is also there with cuet .
