Internships Opportunities
My college offers a range of internship opportunities, collaborating with companies across various fields to help students gain practical experience and industry exposure. The internship process typically starts in the 5th or 6th semester, allowing students to apply their knowledge in real-world settings before graduating. Companies Offering Internships and Roles: Several reputable companies partner with the college for internships, mainly in sectors like technology, consulting, finance, and management. Some of the key companies that regularly offer internships include: TCS, Infosys, and Wipro: These tech giants offer internships for roles like software development, data analysis, and IT consulting. These internships give a strong foundation in tech-related skills and often come with stip
Placement Experience
In terms of placements, my college has a decent reputation, with an organized campus recruitment process that focuses on giving students early exposure to the job market. Eligibility for Campus Placements: Students become eligible for campus placements starting from the 6th semester. This early access allows us to get a feel for the interview process and understand what companies are looking for well before graduation. Companies and Offers: Some well-known companies visit our campus, including big names like TCS, Infosys, Deloitte, Wipro, and Cognizant. There are also a few startup companies that come for specific tech roles, which is exciting because they often offer hands-on opportunities and faster growth. Typically, the more established companies make the largest number of offers. However, startups usually have fewer positions but can offer more specialized roles. Placement Packages: The placement packages vary depending on the company and role. The highest packages tend to come from the tech giants and consulting firms, offering around 10-12 LPA (Lakhs Per Annum) for specialized roles like data analysis, software development, and consulting. The average package hovers around 4-5 LPA, especially for entry-level roles in IT services and management. Placement Percentage: On average, around 70-75% of eligible students secure placements through campus recruitment. This percentage can vary by department, with computer science and IT students often having the highest placement rates, while other fields might see a bit lower. My Plans After Graduation: Once I complete my degree, I plan to explore work in the tech and consulting field, ideally in a company that offers growth opportunities and exposure to new technologies. Gaining industry experience is my main priority, but I’m also considering further studies or certifications to specialize in my field if I feel the need to upgrade my skills after working for a while.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yeah scholarship is available fee structure is very nice but fees charge is not fixed every year structure change little bit and scholarship are also very good students have best opportunities to gain a scholarship
Campus Life
My overall experience with campus life has been a mix of academic challenges and social engagement, making it fulfilling and enjoyable. Here’s how it breaks down: Social Life and Festivals: Campus life here is vibrant, especially with the variety of annual events that bring everyone together. The biggest event is our annual cultural festival, called Utsav, held in February. It’s an exciting time, with performances, art displays, music competitions, and dance shows. Then, there’s our technical fest, TechnoVibe, which happens in October. This one brings in students from different colleges, and it’s packed with workshops, coding competitions, and hackathons that encourage hands-on learning. Clubs and Extracurricular Involvement: The college has a range of clubs that appeal to different interests, from debate and literature clubs to robotics and entrepreneurship groups. I’m part of the literary club, which has been a great outlet for creative expression and meeting like-minded people. Joining a club has helped me build connections beyond my class and learn new skills. The clubs are pretty active, and there’s usually something happening on campus, which keeps the social atmosphere lively. Library Resources: Our library is well-stocked, with a good selection of both physical and digital resources. There’s a comprehensive collection of academic books and journals, covering a range of fields from science and technology to humanities. The library also has subscriptions to major online journals, which makes research much easier, especially during exam season or for projects. It’s generally accessible, though during exams it can get crowded. Classroom Facilities and Technology: The classrooms here are well-maintained and have modern facilities. Most classrooms are equipped with smart boards and projectors, which enhance the learning experience by making it more interactive. There’s Wi-Fi access throughout the academic blocks, which helps when we need quick access to online
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facilities at my college are quite decent, providing most of the essentials needed for a comfortable stay. Room Facilities: Each hostel room is furnished with a bed, a study table, a chair, and a wardrobe for each occupant. The rooms are shared, usually by two or three students, which helps make it affordable while still giving us enough space. The rooms also have access to Wi-Fi, which is a huge plus for both studying and relaxing in our downtime. Basic housekeeping services are provided, and we get our rooms cleaned regularly. In terms of common amenities, each floor has a shared bathroom, which is maintained fairly well. There are also common areas with some comfortable seating where we can study or just hang out with friends.
Admission
Choosing my college over others was a blend of practicality, personal preference, and what felt like the best fit academically and socially. I had a few options, each with unique strengths, but ultimately my decision came down to a few main factors. First, the academic reputation of my college was one of the deciding factors. It’s known for having strong programs in my area of interest, with professors who are both experienced and engaging. Some of the other colleges I applied to were highly ranked as well, but my current college seemed to have a more balanced approach. It wasn’t overly intense in one specific area, which I appreciated since I wanted a well-rounded experience. Next was campus culture. When I visited, I found the atmosphere welcoming and supportive, which felt different from some other places. Some of the other colleges had a more competitive vibe that felt a bit intimidating. My college also had a good balance between academic and social life. Students here seemed serious about their studies but still found time for other activities, which was important to me. In terms of location, my college was more convenient for me. It’s close enough to home that I can visit family if needed, but far enough to give me a sense of independence. The other colleges were farther away, and moving there would have been a bigger lifestyle adjustment. Now, if I talk about why I didn't make it into a few of the other colleges, it mostly came down to high competition and the admission criteria. In some cases, I might not have been as strong on the specific areas they emphasized, like extracurriculars or entrance exam scores. Each college has its own mix of what it’s looking for in students, and sometimes it just doesn’t align perfectly with what you bring. Finally, about the admission process of my college—it was straightforward but still competitive. The process involved an entrance exam, a review of past academic achievements, and some specific requirements based on
Faculty
Exam system is very nice but exam date rapidly change due to some reasons but all over if I give points so I will give 8 out of 10. Marking is also good but sometimes teacher talk about the manner of writing they believe on self dependent not on books .
Interview Experience
Yes, my admission process included a written test and an interview. Here’s how it went: Written Test Pattern: The written test was mostly objective, with sections covering quantitative aptitude, logical reasoning, English language skills, and subject-specific questions related to my field of study. The quantitative section focused on basic math concepts, like percentages, averages, and time-speed-distance questions, while the logical reasoning section tested our ability to solve puzzles and interpret patterns. The English section included comprehension passages and grammar questions, testing both vocabulary and reading comprehension. Interview Questions: In the interview, the questions covered both academic and personal topics. The interviewers asked me about my interest in the course and why I chose it, along with some basic technical questions relevant to my chosen field. For example, they asked me about recent trends in the industry
Night Life
The nightlife around my college campus is pretty laid-back but enjoyable, with a few favorite hangout spots and activities that help students unwind after a day of classes. While it’s not as lively as a big city, there are enough options to keep things interesting. Favorite Hangout Spots and Late-Night Activities: One of the most popular spots among students is the cafeteria, which stays open until around 9 p.m. It’s the go-to place for catching up with friends, especially after classes. The food is affordable, and the vibe is relaxed, making it a great place to socialize. For those who want a quieter environment, there are some cafes nearby that are open late, offering cozy corners for studying or just hanging out. There’s also a 24-hour canteen just outside the campus, and it’s a lifesaver during late-night study sessions or group projects. A lot of students gather there after evening classes, and it has this relaxed, informal vibe that makes it perfect for unwinding.
