There is no entrance exam the admission is purely based on a merit list created on the basis of 12th marks, 60 percent marks or so are sufficient to get you admission in the college easily. The application form can be found on the official website of the university that is Chaudhary Charan Singh University or you can directly reach out to the college and get your admission done. The reservation here is on the basis of the caste system.
Any graduate student can apply for the course as i have done B.Sc from the same college in PCM and then opted for M.Sc in Mathematics. For admission Students have to take prospectus from the college for which they charge for about ?400-?500 and have to fill the anti ragging form which you can get from the near cyber cafe. The fees is to be paid in the bank which is in the college only but it takes ample amount of time as the queue of students is never ending and then you have to submit your form in the alloted class or department which is really exhausting. As in regards of reservation the college first gives priority to the Jainsa first then mostly the girls and also on the base of your caste. But your merit must also be good otherwise your application can also be rejected. The thing which i would like for the college to change is that they really exhaust the students as first going from one class to another and then the never ending queues.
The admission process is based on merit. I opted for this college for my master's in Economics because I found the faculty is very knowledgeable. All the professors are Ph. D holders. Also, the environment of the college is very peaceful. One main reason for opting for this is the availability of the semester system in the Masters.
If you are looking for a college with minimum fees and a dignified degree than JV Jain is the best college to opt for. Admission process is quite simple ,all you have to do is to fill admission form , than if you will be selected than you have to submit the fees and some other documents in the college and your admission will be done. If you choose JV Jain college over others , you will be having a good college life at minimum cost and minimum tension.
The course is all good but the syllabus is too outdated, no new language or necessary industrial things are added and just continuing that old school stuffs. Faculties are co-operative enough but no practical skills are focused. Just the theory and the outdated syllabus we have.
