Course Curriculum Overview
We have data structure and algoriths , DBMS, OS, computer networks and System design as core subjects of CSE. I think that curriculum needs to update according to real-world application. The core mentioned topics are highly in demand and needs to be focused more. Frequency and timing of exams are perfect.
Placement Experience
Overall college placement is not too good. In 7th semester student are eligible for college placement. This year google has also come for 2nd year internship. 2 students got intern at google :) In 2025 batch: Company package Total students PLaNeTSPaRK 6.5-7.5 LPA 3 Xceedance 7 LPA 6 Intellipaat 7.25 LPA 8 HUL 10 LPA 4 Humming Wave 8-13 LPA 26 Genpact 8 LPA 14 Skolar 6-9 LPA 14 I want to take placement in a good company.
Fees and Financial Aid
the net yearly tution fees of Btech CSE is 84775 rupees which includes tution_fees, examination_fees, user_charges, student activity training and placement fees and other_fees is 70000, 7500,5275, 2000, 0.00 respectively. The tution fees is same for all categories except for fee waiver student that is 14000 only. I am a third year volunteer of Dean Student Welfare. Students are provided by UP scholarship other than post matrix. They get upto 1 lakh scholarship. OBC student receive upto 70000 rupees and sc/st upto 1lakh.
Campus Life
various deparmental fest are: Tantransh(CSE) MechFest(Mechanical) Hunar(MBA) Ankuran(ECE) and many more Library of the college is okayish. Classrooms are not in a good condition. Sports facilities provided in campus is also okay okay.
Hostel Facilities
Girls hostel are best. 1st and 2nd year it is three seater 3rd year is double seater and 4th year is single seater Various facilities are good Wi-Fi connection, water supply, Clean floors. Mess food is also good. Hostel fees yearly is 14500+ Mess fees 19000 per semester+ HMC 4000 per semester Registration process is simple. If seats are available student can easily get a Hostel.
Admission
I had also applied in LPU but it is a private university and I want to pursue my higher studies through a government college that's why I had applied to UPTU councelling. IET is on my top preferece and got it too :) No, I didn't face any kind of rejection from LPU. To get into IET secure good percentile in JEEmains and participate in UPTU councelling. It is one of the best college of AKTU :)
Faculty
Faculty to student ratio is 3:50 According to me Deepanshu Yadav (Faculty in CSE department) is one of the best teacher. He has good communication, listening and adaptability. He create a productive learning environment. There are 2 class tests of 20 marks before every semester. Dififculty level of CT is average. Approx 1-2 students fails to clear the exam. Course curriculum is according to AKTU guidlines.
Night Life
There is no gym, cafeteria or public area in college Libraries are open from 9 to 5 Boys are not allowed to roam near girls hostel after 6 pm. There is no place to hangout in college but you can go outside campus. There are various places to visit in Lucknow:)
