1. Admission Process The admission process at AISSMS IOIT follows the Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell’s guidelines for engineering admissions. 2. Eligibility Criteria For BTech Courses: Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry/Biology/Computer Science as core subjects. A minimum aggregate score of 50% (45% for reserved categories) in these subjects is required. Additionally, candidates should be Indian nationals and meet the domicile requirements for Maharashtra (for state-level seats). 3. Exams Accepted JEE Main: Accepted for both Maharashtra and all-India quota seats. MHT-CET: The Maharashtra Common Entrance Test is a state-level exam specifically for Maharashtra candidates. Generally, candidates with a score above the 90th percentile have a higher chance of getting admission to top branches. JEE Main: Similar to MHT-CET, cutoffs for JEE Main vary based on branch demand and seat quotas. A decent percentile (usually above 85) is helpful for competitive branches. 5. Overall Admission Experience The admission experience is straightforward, primarily handled through the centralized CAP (Centralized Admission Process) rounds conducted by the State CET Cell. Students participate in CAP rounds by registering online, submitting documents, and filling out college preferences. Seat allocation occurs based on merit, reservation, and quota criteria, making it a fair and transparent process.
