Detailed report on GL Bajaj B.Tech

My course is B.Tech in ECE department. This course is very helpful for my career and subjects such as vlsi which is very important for career in ECE core companies is himself taught by hod and hod is very helpful.Other then that there are certain subjects such as ic in which I feel that course structure is not as helpful but other then that course is quite comprehensive.

In the starting of 2nd year we get a opportunity to do our 1st internship in BSNL where we learn about the Networks and Connecting cables. In the end of intership we had submitted a project report and a presentation related to what we have learned and then we get a completion certificate form the BSNL. Other then that companies such as Microsoft comes for internship opportunity.

Students get eligible for campus placement from end of 6th semester and companies start visiting at that time.companies such as lg,Bosch ,etc visit .This year lg hired two students and Bosch generally offers 60-70 offers.Highest package was approx 50 lack in Palo Alto and average package mediates between 5-6 lakh per annum.approx 80 percent students get placed and my plan is to get a campus placement and work in a core company after getting a degree.

The first year fees was 151500/- and from second year onwards the fees is 141500/- For new batches the fees has increased by 10000/- and we have to additionally pay the examination form fee to aktu once in a year which is approximately 7200/- There are few seats which is given to fee waiver students in which they don't have to give tution fee

There are clubs of different departments.Ec has club called anvitha which organises fest and events.There are several events such as freshers,cultural activity,nukkad natak,etc. Libraries are quite good there are two libraries one on Academic block 1 and one in academic block 2.Both are fully ac and books ,journals research paper everything is available. There are projectors in class and ac will be installed from next year but as of now it gets quite difficult to attend class In summer time. Sports activities are quite common but sports is not supported much by faculty.there are annual sports and competition between different college in sports. Students run clubs and organise events such as dandiya nights etc.

I applied to iit and nit and also applied to galgotia college but I didn't got admission in IIT and nit because of low percentile and I chose gl bajaj over galgotia because gl bajaj is growing at fast pace rather then galgotia.admission is given based on direct or counselling basis.for direct you have to directly come to college and show your 12 th percentage and for counselling you have to fill for counselling in aktu counseling.

Each subject has different faculty members and they are highly professional in their respective subjects. There are 2 mid-term exams which occur in college campus and one end-term exam conducted by aktu in some different college.

I didn't stayed in college hostel .I stayed in a nearby hostel and my timing was 5am to 9 pm Hangout spots are paintra which is located nearby and alpha 2 which have many cafes and restaurants and also malls such as omaxe and Venice. College hostel has cafeteria,gym and laundry included so students dont have to worry Inside college hangout spots are canteen ,stands and outside hangout spots are alpha 2,paintra,omaxe mall,grand Venice mall
