Likes
- The campus life is great. There are students from all over the state. So people are mixed with vibrant culture.
- The campus is green and there are many places for students to gather and talk.
- The infrastructure and curriculum is great too. Because our course is vocational we get great practical study sections.
Dislikes
- The placement is not so great. We have to find our own placements.
- Ther is no free wifi in college which would have been a great addition if there had been.
- The infrastructure could still be improved even though its ok now. A nature walk could be a great addition.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course deals with computer languages and technologies both theoretically and practically. Well equipped labs with ac is a great support for the practical studies. We study c, java, python, javascript, machine learning and so on.
Fees and Financial Aid
I have enrolled for Bvoc Software Development which is a self financing course thus my fee for a single semester is 18750. Which is around 38000 for a year. And on top of that there is also exam registration fee for every semester which is around 1000 rupees. Because we are self financed there are only some scholarship available and that is too it is for some reserved society.
Campus Life
The campus life is one of the most attractive part of the college. There are events almost everyday. There are main fests of every department of colleges separately in some months every year. And ours tech fest 'Skilla' is to be held in december. There is a great and large library. The classrooms are equipped with smart tvs and mic sets. The sports team is great and has a great number of sports items. The training and training staff is great too. There are many social clubs and groups too .
Admission
I applied for other colleges like MES Mampad college, St Joseph college Devagiri and others but chose this because of the prestige and name the college holds. The campus is great too. The admission process is easy but require atleast more than 95% in plus two rxam for merit seat and more than 85% for management quota admission.
Faculty
The faculties are great and there are enough of them. Most of them are very friendly. They provide great curriculum support. Principal is a great person. Our course is more practical based and deals with latest technologies. There is twom main semester exam a year and internal exams in between the semesters . Exams are manageable if you study average.
