Course Curriculum Overview
The childhood intrest in me to construction of buildings forces me to select the civil engineering field.the laboratory classes teaches the practical thigns which sync the realworld application. The syllabus should be more and more practical than now.there are 3 cat exams per subject in one semester.these exams timing 1.5 hours.
Internships Opportunities
There are many internship opportunities. There are many companies like zoho, Chennai metro,L&T etc.. have selected some students for internship. Among this company some provides monthly salary which is average of 13 thousand per month.
Placement Experience
The placement and the package in this current year is less when compared to previous years. This is due to the more admissions in computer science field and more employees are there.the highest package is 12L/yr . 18% of students will get placed.My plan is to start private construction agency.
Fees and Financial Aid
I have paid 1.25 lakhs college fees and 80000 hostel fees per annum. Overall its not worth. The placement package is very less. The food provided is at low quality.the infrastructure is also less. Not worth!!!
Campus Life
There are more clubs which are available inside the campus . There are more opportunities available to join and build the leadership qualities and you can also overcome the stage fear.the infrastructure is not bad but it's ok.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel fees per annum is 80 thousand which is not worth of that money. The food is not good. As we have complaint it many times but its still bad. Ther are totally 7 hostels just jor men. And 5 girls hostel.
Admission
The name kongu engineering college is enough to choose this college. The name which thus college bought in past 40 years is very good. And there is lot of trust among parents. When I was in school days I like to join sri krishna college due to family situations I joined here.
Faculty
The staffs are almost friendly in all the departments.they treat you like a friend. Arunkumar,my favourite teacher who approaches me and encouraged me in all situations. Balaji the staff who always shows his anger to us.
