Remarks
The placement is the worst thing as I told. And faculty of Amity should have more concentration on teaching rather than Extra works. Otherwise all is good in university. Beacuse students come in amity/any college specially for education, then it comes to extracurricular activies.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is quite good but too much for a student. You will be given 8-10 subject per semester except the last semester in masters. In which, 5-6 subjects will be related to your core branch, one is open elective, apart from your core and according to your own choice. One is foreign language, in which you will have to choose one foreign language among German, spenish, french etc. I had germen.???? One is behavioural science and one is communication skill, related to english communication. These two subjects are compulsary for all the students. Exams are held in Nov-Dec and April-May. The results are announced in Jan and June-July.
Placement Experience
The worst thing about amity is their placement. Amity has very poor placement. Students of lucknow campus have to go to noida amity campus just to be placed. But now they have changed many thing like this one. Now most of the companies come to lucknow campus to place the student. Amity placement ratio is too poor. They should work on their placement as amity is one of the most costly univeraities in India.
College Events
Amity has two major events. First is called SANGATHAN and another is AMIOHORIA. Sangathan is basically related to sports, both type of sports indoor and outdoor. Amiphoria ia basically for night shows, lile singing, dancing, anchoring, based on inside skills programme.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Very expensive. Amity ia one of the most costly universities in India. It costs atleast just double of any private college or university, I repeat atleast twice, it can be more. But they will provide you all facility, like 24 hours wifi with high speed and centralized AC in every classroom.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are all facilities available in Amity you have listen above. They will help for education loan/loan for students addmission from Axis bank. They have many scholarship programmes but only for rankers and top CGPS students. But if you are a average student and belongs to poor/average family, UP scholarship is always there.
Campus Life
Amity is just a hub of extracurricular activities which is the best part of Amity. They focus more on EQ rather than IQ. And I totally agree that, because just learning the book is good for earning not for living the life. Your EQ will always be better as your IQ. They have good labs also. You can do any practical related to your subjects and topics. There are also good and well educated lab assistence in labs to help you out. I already told you about sangathan, the most famous sports competition.
Hostel Facilities
I never opted for hostel. But I know about the hostel. It costs sixty five thousands per year for students. All the rooms will be non-AC with 24 hours of wifi. They have a food mess also and its compulsary for every students. They alott two students in one hostel's room. Amity has both Boys hostels and girls hostels, seperately. There is two bed and two study desk with two chairs in every hostel room with 24 hrs of electricity.
Alumni/Alumna
It depends on individual's seniors. How are they and how lucky you are to get those types of seniors. My seniors are very good, It was two girls, And they are really good. They always helped us more than faculty of Amity. We are still in touch after 3 years of college. But as I told it depends on individual's relation.
Faculty
Faculty is good and well educated. But When it comes to their teaching, no one, here, wants to teach, they will help you in all the things but it seems teaching is not their profession in Amity, sometimes you'll feel it. But I was ok with it, because if I have to read in home, then Why I'll read it from you in college. Students come college just to maintain their >75% attendence. You will have to rely on your own self study totally.
