Course Curriculum Overview
Firstly, this curriculum of bachelor in pharmacy influenced me to understand the knowledge of medicine, for how it works on body, its uses and side-effect and patient safety as well . This course prepares you to understand prescription and helps to explain the use of medicine to the patient in real world
Internships Opportunities
In 7th semester of b.pharm internship for 3 months was necessary to clear exams , for that I've applied to district hospital as intern pharmacist.my major project in 8th sem was study of effect of vincristine, anticancer drug.
Placement Experience
Placement was offered to me in mid 8th semester of my course and companies like apollo hospital, cryoviva and medical representative based companies have offered job . The average salary package was from 2.5 lakh per annum to 3.5 lakh
Fees and Financial Aid
I've paid 80k for one year,total 320000 for 4 years. My tution fees was 30000 per semester at that time and bus fees was 10000rs . I've paid 1500 for caution money which was charged in first semester only and in 8th semester I've paid additional 1000rs for training and placement fees. Scholarship was available for reserved caste students as well as for minority student. As i was a minority student every year i got a scholarship amount of 25000 rs . In Sc/st category they've got almost 45000rs per year scholarship amount . In year 2018 fees for my course was considerably lesser than today .in current year the fees is 90000rs per year
Campus Life
I've got good experience and memorable moments during my college time. Techno fest was celebrated every year during engineer's day and pharmacist day celebration as well. Book were provided from library for free and journal access was also given along with e-library facility. Sports function was also held every year
Admission
I've also applied for for jk college of pharmacy but I've put chouksey school of pharmacy in first preference and I've got selected in first counselling. Admission process in my college was firstly to register for the course and mandatory exam was Chhattisgarh pre pharmacy test
Faculty
There was 1:50 ratio of teaher to student at that time . The college faculties were very cooperative with me. My favourite teacher at that time was bhushan hatwar sir . There were total 3 exams for my course, per semester. Two internal exams were conducted and they were easy to moderate for difficulty and end semester exams were tough
