Likes

My course was distance one so it was really comfortable for me to study at my own comfort zone.
Even though it was a distance course, we used to get 1-2 weeks classes on campus through which we used to interact with faculty and peers, along with that we used to live in hostel and experience campus life.
Everything was easy and doable, I took admission very late yet every thing got managed without any burnout.

Dislikes

There was a slight communication gap due to which I had to visit college at every minor inconvinience.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum was quite up to date, I found very interesting topics in books.The only con was it was quite in layman language, there are few classes provided rest all are for self study and preparations.

Course Fees: INR 22000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

It was 13,000 in the first semester and 10,000 in the second, and every year in the same sequence. Overall it was 23,000 Annually for distance education course. there was 500 registration fees in the starting.

Campus Life

There are many festivals happening on the campus where we are invitied, CU has a very good liabrary and recently in the south block they have inagurated a grand liabrary with good facilities and even good range of books.

Admission

I was looking for any good distance education colleges, initially I was looking for IGNOU but eventually I dropped that plan and started looking for some good private university and amongst them I found CU perfect since it was totally value for money in comparison to other private universities also it was a hybrid course so I got one week on campus

Faculty

My course was BBA in distance mode, the faculties were very nice whom you meet very rarely during the PCPs which would be conducted once a semester. the exam pattern was MCQ based and quite easy if you prepared decently.

Internships Opportunities:

I haven't opted for intership program but one of my friend got internship in IBM company. Apart from intership many more industrial visits are made by the college. It's gives more knowledge regarding the course.

A good campus.

Placement Experience:

There is a subject called TPP in which the student is allowed to attend placement drives in their colleges. It includes verbal and aptitude. More than 500 companies visit my college and offer 6lacs to 10lacs per annum to the deserving candidates.

Teaching a methods are good and examination level are Are good.It's only depend on teacher and depends on Which teacher are going to check up?Paper and examination time is like Morning and evening . Lovely Professional University’s Truth!!

Placement Experience:

The campus placements here are good. Many of my batchmates have been placed. Students become eligible for placements after second year. Many companies have visited here and offered job roles in different fields like sales, operation, lead generation etc. Packages offered ranges from 10lpa to 4 lpa. And the average package is 5 lpa. There is an option if you dont want to chose placement services. Mostly students who have opted for placements services have been placed and the rest will also be placed soon. My plan is to pursue MBA after the completion of my degree.

Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

I didn't apply to any other college. I chose it because it was close to my home. The admission process to give CUCAT exam for which the fees is 1000 rupees. The passing marks are 40 out of 100.
