Course Curriculum Overview

The core curriculum is made by the MGR University,Chennai. Every year students have a set of syllabus for theory & practical . Everything is included, even from nursing college there are procedures that i have learnt.it will be so useful. Everything they are teaching here is good Classes will be held 5days in a week

Internships Opportunities

There is no need of going out of college for intership, Internship already included in the course , So once u finish 3 yer study & 4th year will be the internship in the hospital, We can do research while in student period & after that also

Campus Life

One of the best things I can I say about this college is campus life , CMC has best hostels i see till now. ,many sports & cultural events in an academic calendar, some spiritual events also , every Sunday chapel prayer in campus. CMC has wide range of library' all over it's campus , One in hospital campus Two in college campus Another two in college of nursing CMC has 3 students association divided by the degree

Hostel Facilities

CMC has best hostels & mess menu , meal quality is next level .we have garden ,lawn for the hostels , One room is for 2 persons big enough for 2 persons. Each room contains 2 cupboards , 2 study tables , 2 chairs , 2 lights , 2 racks , 2 cots .2 windows small & one big window

Admission

I choose CMC over others because of this college extreme good in medical field & that's what all i need to get graduate from one of the best college Admission process: Fapply for entrance exam Selected Merit list Interview, Medical checkup I applied for Hindu college of pharmacy, i got the seat also ,but I choose to join CMC over that. I didn't get any rejection from any college

Faculty

Faculty is so experienced, & even HOD'S take classes for students , with bias in between students or students to faculty , more over there is thing I like is practically a student will get infinite experience during student period. Dr .Vinoi George David Dr.joseph Dr.santhosh Varghese I like these doctors who takes class for students , most experienced Every year 2 papers , for three years , Only 1st year & 3rd year have practicals , No practical for 2nd year Easy to moderate level question paper.

NIEPMD college insight

Likes

The campus environment is very good, neat and calm, the campus is well maintained and regularly cleaned
The main language that's spoken here is english, since people from all over India comes here, the common language to communicate switches to English, which is better for our English vocabulary and for future job references
It's a ragging free campus, there is strict anti ragging helpline, seniors are friendly,

Dislikes

No availability of good food nearby the college, since it's in outskirts of chennai, there is no medical or no or very few hotels around here
There is shortage of staffs here, and mostly boys to girls ratio is like 1:4 in our class,
The canteen food needed to be improved and should provide proteinacious food

Placement Experience:

The college gives internships after the final year, 6 months is the duration of the internship, 3 months inside campus and 3 months they post us outside the college to nearby hospitals or colleges like SRM,Meenakshi, Saveetha, balaji etc....Placements are average, they have to do a lot of work on it, but the coming placements are with a good salary amount

This college have good cirtificate value
This college have a great principal who is very passionate about what he is doing
You will be Able to have a budget friendly life here

Dislikes

Faculties are not upto mark but they are ok
The infrastructure is not good but yes they are improving
Very bad toilet facilities, campus is not that big

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is possible here You will get intership from nimhans Bangalore and many great places There is campus placement but Id rather recommend to have other methods coz you will get great package for this course than the place they are placing us.

Niepmd - ASIA'S only college for multiple disabilities

Likes

Asia's first college which is working for multiple disabilities
Clinical exposure will be much better than other colleges
Good teaching skills and teachers support

Dislikes

No hostel facilities for students after first year
No bus facilities for students for day scholars and outside first year hostellers
Canteen food is not good as per students need

- i want to become a doctor and this field feels very much interesting to me - yeah there will be so much clients load will have a great exposure for different disabilities and well planned treatments also - detailed review about patients by clinical staff has to be there and teaching with interest - every year annual exam and it's difficult

Placement Experience:

The course consists of 3 years and 1-year internship. Every student will be able to get job after the course because during the 1 year internship you will be able to expand your knowledge and get exposure. I plan on doing my PG after completing the degree.

Placement Experience:

During internship periods itself got placement. They published my research paper with faculty guidance during the internship itself. 100% passed out students were placed in various hospitals. Offering a Master degree with a specialization in Psychiatry, Pediatrics and Neurology.

I got admission in this college by getting high marks in my HSC examination. The eligibility criteria are as follows: Applicants should have passed through HSC or equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Botany and Zoology. The vocational stream isn't qualified for admission. Applicant should have finished 17 years old as on 31st December of the admission year
