Course Curriculum Overview

3

Every department courses is analysed with alumnis and industry expert every year and so , faculty knows what industry needs and trains students as per that . These courses pushes you to self-learn which is both good and bad at times . As already said it prepares us on the industry's POV and will be helpful when facing real-world applications. About what is required specifically in the paper isn't very clear . Attending classes alone will not help you pass , self-learning relevant topics is needed. Exams are pretty difficult , but correction is little lenient

Placement Experience

3

Students are allowed to apply for placements soon after completed Sem-2 . Around 80 companies visit every year . All-Time highest package offerred to the student of my College was 45LPA , last year ('23) Average package is 6 - 6.5 LPA.

Fees and Financial Aid

Counselling Tuition fee + 3500(Registration) - 1,25,000 Management Tuition fee + 3500(Registration) - 1,80,000 Hostel fee starts from 90000 to 1,20,000 [Depends on room sharing] 5% increase every year on tuition fees. Undisclosed % increase on hostel fee yearly. Student Loan can be easily availed by eligible students . Various scholarships are available. EMI payment of fee can be activated. First degree student from a family can avail benefits. includes all fees ( Tuition fees, caution fees, lab fees etc.)

Campus Life

2

Inter-college Hackathons happen every year. Dhrona is the annual big event , various activities happen at that time . Festival celebrations are regular and students are encouraged to participate. Doesn't have a big auditorium or hall to host these events though. Has a disappointing , small library . Books are easy to borrow from there . There is a online weekly college magazine that covers the events that happened. Small campus results in boredom though. There are few clubs , NCC , NSS handled by college faculties . Active participation on the clubs is encourages throughout. Classrooms have smartboard and PPTs and scribbling are done on that . Every bench have a charging port to keep using Laptops in class.

Hostel Facilities

3

I'm staying in hostel . The room includes a Bed , Study table , Cupboard per student. Weekly menu is followed for a month and changes are made if requested . Meal quality is good. Hostel fees is affordable . Has inadequate seats and require fast booking .

Admission

I was selected on slot 2 for Amrita, Coimbatore and Slot 3 for VIT , Chennai . Didn't opt for tjoae because of financial reasons. I was rejected from SRM , cause I didn't clear SRMJEE . Admission through counselling need A-level cut-off (180+) . Management seats can be booked earlier and Donation depends on the individuals board score . Management-Counselling quota is available here . Admission here is pretty easy if you have good to excellent marks .

Faculty

3

1:50 Faculty:Student (approx.) . Few staffs are very approachable and friendly , easy to mingle with . Few staffs are so lenient and not so interested in clearing your doubts. There are 3 CIA per Semester . There are 8 Semeaters on whole in the span of 4 years . So totally 24 CIAs and 8 Sems . The course is updated every year and is likely industry ready . The head faculty like Principal, Chairman are friendly . My class advisor is approachable but is little lacking in English skills .HODs are strict for freshman year students but as years pass they are less rigid.
