College Life at VNR VJIET: Pros, Cons, and Everything in Between

As there are credits for field project, course based projects for every lab, it helps in teaming up, building projects. Our college is having very good faculty for AIML which made me choose this course. Improvements can be made by reducing the theoritical classes. After 2 months of sem starting, we have exams mid-1 and then again after 1.5 - 2 months, we have mid-2, externals, sem exams in a whole month.

JPMC comes to college in 2-2 for conducting CFG hackathon and the selection rate for hackathon is very high and this year 200 got selected in which 170 are 2nd years and 30 are 3rd years and 30 from 200 got selected for internship which is 75000 per month for 2 months and Full time will be 19.75 LPA

Placaments in VNR are very good when compared with other colleges in hyderabad.From 2-2 semester, placements will be started and the first placement will be from JPMC company. And after this, they will be continued in 3-2, companies like TCS, Cognizant, Accenture, IBM visit the college. Highest package is 1 cr which is an international placement by Juniper company which is off campus. Average package is 7 LPA. Percentage of students getting placements is 90%. My plans after this degree is to work in a company either getting selected through oncampus or off campus

I have joined VNR through NRI category and for me, Donation was 800000, and 400000 per year and also miscallaneous charges of 7500 for every year. Therefore 407500 per year. I belong to BC-D and I did not have better score in EAMCET so I chose to join through management quota. For other batchmates who joined through B Category, college fee is 1,41000 per annum and other 7500 for miscallaneous fee. And those who joined through reuimbursement, for full reiumbursement, no fee but 7500 miscallaneous fee with 10000 admission fee which will be returned by government later like after few months of joining and students get 5000 scholarship per year and for not having full reiumbursement, government will pay 30000 and students have to pay other 90000 from 1,40000 and miscallaneous fee 7500 and these people also get scholarship which is 5000 per year.

My experience with campus life is like I felt very good and there is lot of competition in our college and 90% of the students are goal oriented. Annual fest is Scinti which is a college fest which occurs for 3 days and it is very great chance to have fun with friends. There will be another technical fest which is convergence and it is also 3 days event. Sports fest will be held once in a year. There are lot of clubs, social groups, chapters like student force, streetcause ,nss , scintillate photography, crescendo musical,livewire dancing club,dramatrix acting club,turing hut, CSI, ACM,GDSC,Art of living, etc.,.

Hostel charges are seperate and it is 1,40000 per annum and seperate charges for laundry,etc.,. it will be 1450000 and it can be paid in 2 installments. They provide gym as well. In room they will provide a cupboard, study chair. Qualirty of food is good and not that bad. Menu is like they provide biryani once in a week and tiffins will be idli, dosa, upma, etc.,. They also provide horlicks, boost, tea and lunch will be in college

The reason behind choosing this college over other colleges is for now, in hyderabad, VNR is the best and top college and It is having very good naac grade and placement rate is also high thats y i chose this. I didnt get any rejection but I didnt keep any options and wanted to join through management. For admission process, one should be very early if they want to join through management because the seats will get filled so easily and they have to pay donation and if they have any political support then they will get seat easily but there wont be any change in the donation and fees

VNR is having huge amount of faculty and there is no lack of faculty. Classes will be conducted without fail and there will be very least chances of faculty getting absent. All of the faculty are very good at teaching and they did masters, phd's,tc.,.I liked sagar yeruva who is the head of our AIML and IOT department as he will be very much disciplined and more practical and project oriented. Other best faculties are Archana, Prasanthi, Haritha who is our class coordinator, Preety singh, Naga Durga Saile.

No there wont be any GD, Interview, test for admission. They will check scores of EAMCET, JEE, ECET. Depending on the scores, they might reduce fee and it is on first cum first serve basis and there will be lot of competition for the seats
