Course Curriculum Overview
As i chose Automobile engg. which is best in this college with average package of 4.5 lpa and only few college had this course . Although faculty was good and they have audi lab with Audi A6 for practical study. Generally there is two mid sem one semester and final semester exam along with practical and assignment.
Internships Opportunities
There is no internships opportunites u have to do it by yourself however few faculty member help you in this . There is only placement opportunities. In 7th sem u have to make a minor project and in 8th sem there is major working project thats it.
Placement Experience
So from 7th semester or final year students are eligible for campus placements. Many companies came like TVS motors ,Capgemni , Hero, saint gobin but in our time only TVS motor came for role of territory manager with package of 6lpa.only 5,6 students got selected around 8% then covid strike .
Fees and Financial Aid
Fee structure is like around 35000 per semester but vary according to your father rank as this college is run by bsf. There are 2 quota 1 is for bsf wards and another is for civilian. Fee vary according to fathers rank like So's , officers, widows, and soldiers. Tution fee is around 29000/- College dev fee 3500/- Misc fee 2500/- There are few scholarships program like Prime Minister scholarship for CAPF wards and state govt. Scholarship schemes for obc st/sc childern.
Campus Life
Only one function/event happen in a year that is annual function. There is huge library all books related to subjects along with journal and newspaper available. Big grounds available for sports and many sports events happens like inter college and inter districts. There is E cell run by students and faculty and also Baja , Supra and solar vechicle event grouos run by SAE
Hostel Facilities
Hostel faciliy available specially there is a seperate hostel for freshers along with mess. In room there is bed, table chair, a wardobe. Menu of mess change everyday and quality of food is also good. During addmission they asked whether u want hostel or not if u opted yes then at that time u have to pay hostel fees.
Admission
I also applied for Graphic Era but screening of this college came first and also it is run by BSF and my father is also in BSF thats why i chose this college and its fee is slightly low than Graphic Era. Admission process is firstly you have to apply their admission form online then they make a list of student based on your jee mains marks and 12th board marks. Then they provide you a prospectus in which u have to fill a form then according to list u have to go in screening room where they verified your documents and ask for which branch you need. After that u have to submit your fees and done
Faculty
There are 6 branches in btech courses and each branch have high class faculty. All faculty members are supportive and have good knowledge of their domain. As i'm in automobile dept. My faculty was superb always ready to help whether it is related to study or personal As it is 4 year course so there are total 8 exam semester wise and 16 midsem. Then practical exam and assignments thats it. Exam is moderate. Generaly 3- 7 students face backlog.
