Likes

There is full freedom to move outside the college at any time
Mess food is good in girls hostel compare to boys.
There are 4 hostel. 1 girl hostel and 3 boys hostel.

Dislikes

There is no canteen in whole campus and not as food stalls except mess.
Some faculties are so rude they don't reply in once to the students.
They don't bring companies for the students.

Course Curriculum Overview

Mechanical branch is good compare to petrochemical and automobile.there are regular classes for our branch and the subjects are too intresting in mechanical and some teachers are really good of mechanical engineering.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 33500 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

As I am a general student my fees is 33500 per year. The fees does not increase. I don't get any scholarship. Bus fees is included in 33500. Fees structure is same for all the students but sc st get scholarship of 36000.

Campus Life

There are so much social activities in the clg. Depends on the students how much they participate in the activities. My experience is good with the other activities rather then studies and I participated alot.

Admission

Basically, I choose this college because my marks in JEE was not that much ki I can go for cs or something else but this college fees is affordable so I opted mechanical in this college and being a locality it's good for me to do up and down

Faculty

Some faculties are rude in behaviour and in my branch (mechanical) there is no female faculty and there are lot of assignments in the semester. They don't improve the students result much and some teachers also make grudge in result. Which is very bad ????

SGSITS: JUST A BIG BRAND

Placement Experience:

At the end of 2nd year, companies like goldman sachs comes to take interns. For placements students become eligible from 6th or 7th semester. In recent years goldman sachs is the biggest recruiter, oracle and Deloitte have also recruited, other firms like tcs and infosys also come. Giants like Amazon and google have stopped visiting since few years. Last year highest package was 72 lpa to an ece student. Average lies around 8 lpa. In tech branch 70-80% students are placed. In lower branches 50-60% students are placed. My plan is also to get placed at a decent package after completion of course.

The college have good placements as far as I got to know. The highest package was 8500000 lpa last year and average package was 1900000 lpa. My plan after the degree is to get god job in ECE cire company.

LIFE IN MITS-DU

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to get placed and many companies visits every year for placement and approx 60-70% students gets placement every year.As per my knowledge there is no company which has made no offer.Average package is about 6-7 lakhs per annum.My plan is to take good package from on campus placement drive.If I am unable to get this then I will try for off campus placement and I also want to do MTECH after graduating.

A campus of learning, friendship and future prospects

Placement Experience:

Campus Pl start from the 7th semester with good companies visiting for core branches popular recruiters are tafe eichers, CG power, Disa. Cognizant and Infosys for the IT roles also. The average package is up to the 6 LPA. After completing my degree I am planning To join a good company of the mechanical branch which helps me in building my career in the core engineering field.

For internship from college students are applicable after 3rd year and on 7th semester they are applying for placements. The Institute has a separate cell for training & placement that cares for the industrial exposure & placement of students. UIY RGPV - A take or leave situation

Admission process follows standard procedure of giving JEE after 12th class and clearing JEE mains. Each department has its cutoff which usually ranges from 100 to 180 narks in jee.
