- Campus enviornment is too good and it's an eco friendly campus where you have a lot of spot to relax as well as enjoy
- Extracurricular activities are given more importants along with the academics . Sports , cultural activities, talent shows, workshops .....are there for students
- It is a right place for a sports person. There are so many sports clubs, competitions , training ...etc
Dislikes
- Sometimes college wifi is not good .It will take time
- Sem duration is very less . Several semester will last only for 5 months
Course Curriculum Overview
Some of the theory parts are not required as of now . We have to study more relevant this than the basic theory. The college provide fashion designing workshop , once in a sem that will help you a lot to think and create out of the box . Extra activities workshops are also there .
Placement Experience
An impressive 85 % of students get placements, reflecting the effectiveness of our education and career support programs. B.Sc. in Fashion and Apparel Design program, with some students reporting that about 50% of their coursemates get placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
The year wise fee I'm paying is about is above 50000 . There will be slight changes as it is paid semester wise . Tution fee will be increased per new academic years . Once in a year we have to pay stationary fee of rupees 2500 which will provide us the necessary notebooks, assignment books , sheets etc. ... There is no category wise consideration on fee for SC, ST .
Campus Life
The acharya college is known for its annual fest called Acharya HABBA where students showcase their talents, enjoy and night party's will be there . Habba last for a month with different competition on everyday . Acharya have a huge library where we can stay and study till 10 pm .and it provides a vast range of books , journal, dictionary, etc that all need for a student , it has a silent calm enviornment to study
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facilities are homely food , free wifi they provide , etc. Meal quality is good and it's affordable . For registration you have to register through college . Acharya cottage , layout , agb layout etc are some places which is suitable for students to stay rented .
Admission
No. I didn't get a rejection from any college . First I got admission in nift Chennai for B des in Knitwear designing .But unfortunately because of my financial background I was not able to afford . Acharya is an affordable and good option for fashion designing as now the department is day by day growing
Faculty
The faculties are very friendly and they are very free to talk . There will be a proctor for every student those who cares about our attendance , academics , behaviour, our mental health . Teachers are very true to their work and they make us feel very comfortable .
