Navigating the skies of education: A comprehensive review of the BBA Aviation Program at Acharya College.

Aviation was something i've wanted to follow since my school days. this curriculum has provided me with amazing ouputs which can help me out the real world operations. Collaborations with airlines and airports for internships help students gain pratical experience and networking opportunities. The ciriculum lays a solid foundation for further studies like MBA in aviation management or other specialized certifications. there are some areas which needs to be improved. Especially updated content, Practical training, interdiscipinary approach, feedback machanism etc. Right now theyre trying to get over with the covid lag. which had delayed the whole exam and working of the college. teaching methods could be improved. interactive learning, online resources and field trip should be given more.

Right now they've only started with the internship programs. they'll get into action for internship programs by September. Ive seen some of my seniors do internship recommended by the faculties. but not provided by the college.

when it comes to placements. the companies like infosys, TCS, Congruent and other companies visit our college to hire students. even amazon, HCL, Honeywell, Deloitte, Wipro have partnered to provide collaborative add-on certifications for specialsied industry skills. They have attained the highest salary package of 65.0 LPA. atleast 85% have been placed. Over 550 companies visit the campus annually.

The fee structure for BBA aviation is: Application fee : 1,500 Registration fee : 40,000 Composition fee : 77,140 its a 3 year course so per year 2 sem. and per sem the fees comes around 76,940. There is financial assistance as the college provides scholarship programs. and that is Scholarships for CET students, Domestic Scholarships, International Scholarships. Students who are from financially backward category(EWS/BPL) and secure a rank less than 5000 in CET will get complete education at zero fee with additional benefits like: Free hostel and food on a multiple sharing basis, Stipend of rs.2500 per month. The eligibility critera are : Applicable for students of Karnataka only. Should be from an EWS or BPL Family . Should have secured a rank less thank 5000 in CET. Applicable to only one merit student per family.

Talking about campus life, personally ive enjoyed it the best. its my 2nd year here, ive got 1 more year left to enjoy this wonderful college life. The best fest is the HABBA event which happens once every year. its one of the biggest college fest in banglore. We also celebrate other traditions like Onam, Holi, Christmas etc. The celebrtions are always at its peak. There are alot of clubs within the college like NSS, fashion design club, musical club etc. they all provide extracurricular programs and activities. I still remember in my 2nd sem we had visited a old age home. that was a great experience. The library is available for students from 7am to 10pm. They do provide all books necessary for students of any interest. They also have macintosh computers inside the library for any queries or reasearch.

The eligibilty for bba aviation is: 10TH and 12th pass with minimum 50% aggregate. The examinations are semester wise. sem exam happens years 2 times. per sem 3 internal exams. the exam timings are 2 and half hour. The admission procedures are easy. i had gotten into this college through an agent. so im not clear about the adimission procedures. But fee payment are all done through their own app. Acharya ERP app.

Well, recently the management had made some changes. most of the faculty members have changed. They have hired professional and way better staffs. they are well updated with everything. they do make the classes intresting. some teachers are not upto the level. i dont understand how some are qualified for teaching. My produciton and operation management sir is one of the best person ive seen who can teach well. we understand and see the professionalism in him. its the experience they have not only in teaching but as theyre from huge IT companies. teachers are comfortable to interact with. no personal grudge. no unnecessiary interference.
