Likes
- The campus, they have a huge campus almost 120 acres and it near boopdev ghat so whole year the view, nature, weather is awesome
- The faculty are very good, they are always excited to share knowledge with you and are very polite
- Discipline, academics, guidance, opportunities few things which they offer and which are very helpful. Girls to boys ratio is also very good in a average 50 student class there are 20-25 girls in every class
Dislikes
- Like iam in mechanical, few machines and equipment are not up to date and some don't even run
- Computers are bit old in my department, as we guys high end computers for cad, animation,etc
- Few teachers don't even care about us, they don't even bother to help us, they only stick to textbook
Course Curriculum Overview
From my childhood Iam into automobiles so it was natural that I would ake mechanical engineering. So it is the thing I wanted. The current curriculum is a bit old but next year it will be changed and will have new and better syllabus, the current curriculum is not upto date but its quite good. The improvements I would suggest is that a have equal balance of pratical and theoretical. And please reduce the assignments, and increase our semister duration. And we need new tech and machines and equipment related to mechanical engineering. Every 2 months there are exams be it insem or endsem, few subjects a though rest are easy
Internships Opportunities
I don't know much about the companies and the internships but few I know they are comments cognizant TCS Infosys man etc they of a training and experience in a specific sector of the industries which are very helpful in our professional life
Placement Experience
From 6th sem students become eligible for capus placement. Cognizant, tcs, Cummins, ibm, Infosys, man, etc are few companies which came to our college. The average package was 3-8 LPA. Many huge and small companies have visited to our college. For mechanical our senior got placed in some cad designing company who offered him package of 7-9 LPA. Almost 90% student get placed. My plans our to do masters in automobiles after my degree
Fees and Financial Aid
Starting Fees in about 90000 and everyear it increases by 4-5 thousand. There are scholarship provided by the university for obc, sc/st, etc which 50% or sometimes even less. They also have scholarship for EBC and EWS and they have 50% less
Campus Life
The annual events and technical events which are held are generally in in between semesters and the fest are in generally December and January. We recently got few events like smart India hack account avishkar and several or other technical events. As we have many colleges in our campus every college has its own library which is quite big and have all the books needed. The facilities and technology provided are smart digital boards Wi-Fi computer access different labs etc. As we have a huge campus it consist of a huge ground a basketball court a badminton court swimming pool another ground and many others food activity clubs and rooms. We have you clubs and totals like gdsc, SAE club etc
Admission
I didn't applied to much colleges but I applied in Pune's engineering colleges but as my marks were not that good so I couldn't make it there. And the current is very near to my house so there is less time waste in traffic and travel. Because I had less marks in cet I got rejected by other top colleges, not enough practice and studies that were I went wrong
Faculty
Almost all the faculty are very good, they help us in our academics, provide guidance in our college asa well our mental health. They provide regular notes, pyqs, assignment, experiment,etc which helps alot. They are very supportive and kind to us they listen to our side and constantly try to improve. Except few they don't even bother to listen to us they only stick to textbook and don't care about mental and personal health
