Course Curriculum Overview
Relevance:3/5 The course curriculum offers a mix of foundational and advanced topics, but there are areas where it fall short in aligning with current industry trends. While core subjects are covered well, some elective courses feel outdated or lack practical application. Comprehensivenss:4/5 Overall, the curriculum is quite comprehensive, covering a broad range of subjects within the major. Students have the opportunity to explore various interdisciplinary courses, which is a significant plus.
Placement Experience
As I mentioned before the campus placements is very good. From 4th year,7th sem students are eligible for campus placements. There are many companies visited for B.tech students. Besides B.tech students the companies are also visited for MBA, MCA. The companies which are visited for campus recruiter is TCS, DXC, Capegamini, Tech Mahindra , IBM, CISCO, Wipro, Infosys etc. for software developer. The sales companies are Jaro Education, Hike Education, Mango Insurance, Planet Spark etc. The companies like Dhoot Transmission, Anora, Godrej etc are also visited for Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical students.The average package of software developer is 10 LPA-15LPA. The average package for electronics, electrical and mechanical students is 5LPA-6LPA
Fees and Financial Aid
The year wise tution fees of Electronics and communication branch is 96000 which is same for four years. other than tution fees, in first year the caution fees is 2500, book bank is 2500 which is different from tution fees. The extra amount is to be paid for dress in first year.
Campus Life
As I Mentioned before the annual fest is always conducted which is going for 2-3 days. There is also a concert night in that fest. There are many books are provided for every branch. There are also provided journals. The sports activities is conducted in that fest annually in which prize is distributed to winners. The extracurricular actitvites like dance, games, skits are also conducted in that fest. There are two Social group in college in which student should be participated. one is NCC(National Cadet Corps) and other one is NSS(National Service Scheme).The extra marks is to be calculated for NCC and NSS students.
Admission
I also applied for Laxmi Narain College of Technology. But I got a confimed admission from Oriental Institute of Science and Technology. I choose this college because of following conditions. Academic Programs The programs in this college are well regarded , particularly in Electronics and communication. The faculty consists of experienced professionals who are accessible and supportive, fostering a collaborative learning environment. Educational visit As I mentioned before , in this college there is alwas a semester educational visit during semester . These visits are conducted for every semester for every branches. Besides this college,there is no educational visit conducted. Cultural Activities In this college there is alwas freshers is to be conducted for new 1st year students. which is conducted by second year students. There also conduct farewell for final year students which is conducted by third year students.
Faculty
The faculty to student relationship is very best. Here in this college a Tutor Guardian(TG) is for 30-40 students in each branch. If there is a 120 students then there are 4 TG is to be alloted for 30-30 students. These TGs are very helpful. In this college, after the ending of semestere, feedback is taken from all students about their teachers. The mid-semester examination is appearing for two times before every semester examination.
