Life at Chandigarh university

I did my internship in college only for 3 months which was a paid internship and was provided by infosys. It helped me to learn about real life job opportunities. I did various projects as well. It was overall a fun experience.

From the 6th semester the students becomes eligible for campus placements. There are many companies that visits the college and make decent offers. Average package is around 6,00,000 and highest package this year was 32,00,000. Around 70% of the students gets placed till the end of the course.

Year wise fee i am paying is 1,35,000 after applying the scholarship of 25% otherwise the tution fee was 1,80,000 per year in 2021. It is increasing every year for new admission but remains the same for the students already studying there. You can avail scholarship by giving the cucet exam. You can also get scholarship based on your 12th or JEE score. For the continuation of the scholarship after the first year, you need to maintain a CGPA of 7.5 or above and there should not be any backlog. 2500 exam fee every semester. And the is alis a criteria of maintaining attendance above 75% for you to appear the exam hall and give the exam. Failed to meet the criteria you can't appear for the exam and neeed to give the reappear exam which will cost around 10000 per subject for the summer term or the winter term and 2000 for the reappear exam. For my course i.e. BE CSE the complete course fee is around 7,50,000 according to the 2021 fee structure whereas now it has gone upto 10,00,000 for the complete course

Campus life is great and you get to participate in various events. There is a big fest every semester which goes around for 3-4 days with DJ nights and many other fun activities. There is a sports Complex as well where there is a football ground, badminton hall, volleyball pitch etc.

I opted hostel for the first year and it cost me around 1,00,000. The food quality was decent and menu was very versatile. After that i rented a flat and it cost me around 4,000 per head a month. At flats you get much more freedom and are independent.

I choose this college as my friend was studying there at that time and he recommended me Chandigarh university. He told me to give the Cucet exam to get scholarship which will help me financly. There is no admission process. You can simply register online or visit the campus for admission.

Teachers are very knowledgeable and tries their best to teach the important concepts to the students. There are also projectors in every class which helps the teachers to teach the students and the student to learn more efficiently. They are mostly friendly and understand the emotions of the students. I like ankita mam a lot as she is a knowledgeable teacher and clears the doubt of the students effectively. There are 2 MST every semester and a final semester exam. So in total 4 MST and 2 final exam every year. In total 6 exams a year
