Course Curriculum Overview
Well I code computer engineering because I enjoy coding and also it's high paying jobs and great opportunities. College focus on various aspects in growing the student and focus on overall development. There are communicating classes, aptitude classes, ground discussion classes and programming classes to make student fit for future interviews and jobs. They also take tutorial or tests every month to check whether students are learning or not and mid sem every one and half month ig. It's a good thing because you get to know your limits and what areas you should focus on.
Placement Experience
Students becomes eligible for placements from 3rd year or we can say from 6th semester. Well may companies visit and make many offers some name of the companies are TCS, Microsoft etc. Highest package was 42lakh a student got selected in Microsoft. And average package is around 400000 rs. Well if you don't have any backs and you have maintained good CGPA you can get guaranteed get placement. After getting a degree I'm planning to go for master M.Tech and for that I need to prepare for GATE.
Fees and Financial Aid
So the college fees for B.Tech in cs is 90k per year if you are from SC or ST caste you can get around 60k scholarship and if you're from OBC you can get around 28k scholarship so you have to only pay the remaining money. There are no scholarship for general caste . You have to pay the remaining money every year like I'm from OBC caste so I have to pay 62k because 28k is scholarship amount so I can pay that whenever the govt. will issue the scholarship amount in my bank. There are 2 semester in a year so you have to pay half fees every semester.
Campus Life
There are 2 big events organised every year which is BGI Timelapse and Bansalutsav. In BGI Timelapse they arrange an artist and the artist will perform. In Bansalutsav we get chance to compete for games it's like bansal Olympics. Library contain many books and you can easily get the books there no big issue . There is digital library too. Within the classroom there are no smart boards. But there are good computer labs. Out college also Focus on sports and actively participate in various inter college competitions There is a portal where you can find notes and PYQs
Admission
I applied to Many colleges like sgsits and davv but there cutoff is so high so I didn't get selected and finally I got admission in sushila Devi Bansal College of Technology although I thought it's bad at first but now I realised it's actually pretty good. You can get admission in college based on your 12th percentage and jee marks. If you get good percentile in jee (more than 75%) you can get admission in tws so you need to pay only 22k every year and you can complete the whole btech course for less than 1 lakh rupees.
Faculty
There are good amount of faculties in college and personally I love dr. Rashmi she used to taught basic chemistry in sem 1 her way of teaching is outstanding and also she usually gives us last year papers and important topics on which we should focus. Well there are not any specific faculty whom I didn't like but some of them just give so much burden of completing notes and assignment. There are 2 mid sem and 1 end sem exam . Few days ago the rule was changed and now they calculate the average marks of 2 mid sems. Mid sems are pretty easy to pass if you've studied well. In end sem you have to work extra hard and you'll pass them. I think around 10-20% of students get back or kt.
