If you Wanna persue MCA, Definitely select NCRD SIMS

I decided to persue Mca bcs I completed Bca, tho I liked game development, and Mca had game development as a elective, After taking admission in this college, then I get to know that this college doesn't include game development in their curriculum, probably lack of teaching expertise in that area, but then I tried to persue Web development. Some teachers Use student presentation as a way of teaching and I feel it's just time wastage, as most students just read the slides, instead of teaching properly, as I expect the teachers to teach those topics clearly. The exams conducted timing wise is great, and the difficulty of the exams is moderate if you study decently.

There are total 4 semesters, 2 semester in first year and rest two in second year, after 2nd semester you become eligible for the internship opportunities that the college provide. 4th sem which is of 6 months is internship based semester, Any project you worked in this semester needs to submitted to get the MCA degree. Till now 5-6 companies have visited our college and average package they provide is 2.5-3.5 Lpa which is the roi on your total fees and from 120 students till now only 20 have been placed. I want to persue fullstack web development after getting my degree.

Total 2 year fees is 2,50,000, First year 1,30,000, Second year 1,20,000, Tuition fees is 97071 per year included in your total fees and rest for lab fees, library fees etc. You can avail Ebc or caste based scholarship, no merit is needed for this. But the placement for the college is not bad, if you have the skills you can get an internship easily. Roi is pretty much the same as you invested in the total fees.

Annual festivals are conducted which is "RADIANCE", in which it can involve dancing, singing, or any other appropriate hobbies you can perform there. The range of books related to my field of study is vast and you can definitely find the book you need related to computer science, from basics to advanced. Sports infrastructure and sporting culture itself is non-existent, and as a sports person, I hate this. There are no student run social groups or clubs that's I know of in this college.

I applied to colleges such as Gnims( guru nanak institute of management studies) and sies, unfortunately i couldn't take the admission bcs of the fees those colleges were asking. Admission in this college is done through Mca cet, and the cutoff of this college is probably above 70's, as I had 87 percentile in that exam and got selected in this college.

Faculty is pretty nice and understanding, keeping aside 2-3 people. Most of them understand your situation and try to help you accordingly. Department provides mentor to every student. There are 5-6 faculty members to 60 students ratio. Exam conducted in the college ( prelims, unit etc) are very easy and can easily get above 15/20 marks. And most of the students clear the exam. The course curriculum is pretty good and vast but needs practical knowledge of building a website from scratch instead of just showing how this button works, and how to build login page etc, tho I don't blame the teachers for it rather than the sylabus.
