What Students Say?
Likes
- The campus is good, it is huge and a lot of greenery
- There are small weekly cultural programs conducted by the cpa
Dislikes
- The infrastructure building for diploma is very old, also we studied in the hb building and our class was on the third floor so climbing all the stairs was huge hassle early in the morning
- There weren't many college fests, there was only a few and the main one was at the dsu campus and it had entry fee
Course Curriculum Overview
Actually I think the diploma subjects were highly relative except a few like maths and statistics, and our subjects were very practical unlike engineering which was helpful and terms of studying, exams, and relevance to real life working. The curriculum was fine but the teaching method was average but overall good
Internships Opportunities
As far of now there was only 3 companies that came in with internship offer for us but we chose the second one itself as it was of our faculty's own company, and the 1st offer we got basically spoon fed every little thing we needed for our course completion for a price so on one hand it seems easy but it wasn't so great since we wldn't have any actual experience or value there, but there were supposed to be other companies coming in to offer internship, and we can also choose any company for intership provided that we have have all the documents and the company and the clg have a talk
Placement Experience
There are a lot of good companies that comes for placement as it was mentioned but I'm not fully sure since I'm now in my final year and still haven't gotten to the placements yet so I don't have a lot to say abt that
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions
60000 yearly + exam fees, i did not get through managemen or anything as there is already only a bunch of students applying for diploma, the only necessity was that i should get above 60% in 10th, i don't know anything about the scholarships but there is a scholarship I just dk the details
Campus Life
There weren't so "clubs" really but there is a centre of performing arts (cpa) to manage cultural stuff and there's a whole process to get into it and stuff, there's also a fashion team, and there are other grounds to play basketball, football, throwball, volleyball n stuff
Admission
Honestly the addmission process for me was very easy, i didn't even have to write a entrance test or anything. I chose this clg for it's placements and reputation. And I also liked the campus, it's huge but at the same time it backfired on me since it took me a long walk and climbing lot of stairs to get back to my class after lunch. But the campus is still pretty and there are a few extracurriculars by cpa for management or modeling or anchoring and stuff
Faculty
The faculty were actually pretty good especially for python and DBMS for us, even fsd faculty was good andhe provided us with internships, there were only 2-3 faculties that we couldn't keep up with and couldn't understand. The exam structure goes something like this: • We usually have 5-6 internals with 3 written and 3 lab tests • there will be one main exam where we get paper from the board as our clg is vtu affiliated
Other Applied Colleges
