Course Curriculum Overview

4

Sometimes it’s looking at the extras offered such as audio and video support. Sometimes it’s just the basics and remembering that a good text supports not only the experienced teacher but also the beginner. I’ve been teaching a long time and have used our current text for several years. Today I used a lesson that has been available for the first time, and I learned something from it. . .that by slowing down, sometimes the lesson sinks in better.

Internships Opportunities

4

The internship programm is about 12 month...in which we have to do posting in different department like medicine surgery obgy paeds. But their is lot of skills you will teach during internship period.

Placement Experience

3

After internship students become eligible for campus placement There is no such Companies. I get jobs at phc aur district hospotal. The highest and average package is 88000 Percentage of students getting placements is low. Those who get high rank in final year get placements easily

Fees and Financial Aid

I got admission in 2019, therefore my fees structure is diifer from current scenario First yr :- 100280 Second yr :- 148685 Third yr :- 100280 Final yr :- 106630 (Total fees = 455875) The current fees structure of first year student who get admission in 2024... Tuition fees = 1,38,300, per year Developement fees = 5,000 per year registration fees = 1500 per year Hostel fees = 4000 per year Library fees = 3000 per year Gymkhana = 500 per year

Campus Life

4

When I was allotted GMC Ambajogai I had no idea what to expect. To be very honest , I had no idea about Ambajogai .it's ASIA'S FIRST RURAL MEDICAL COLLEGE. I visited my college on August 2019. I had very little expectations but to my surprise the college was indeed in a good condition. The infrastructure , campus , administration , lecture halls , specially the hostels were too good to be true. THE COLLEGE- Infrastructure is good . Teachers are student friendly. It was a bit more strict in the first year because they're actually moulding you for your new MBBS life that you're singing in for. You get all the facilities required to gain knowledge and practice. We always learn something new at college so don't ever skip it.My favourite in the first year was anatomy dissection hall. The patient inflow is very high ,OPD is crowded everytime. THE LIBRARY- There is a Library if you can't study in your room. I would go to the library when I felt that my motivation was sinking . I needed that environment to focus and retain better . A new library is constructed which might open anytime soon. You can also issue books that you wish to read here .

Hostel Facilities

3

My hostel is one of the best hostel you might get to live in a government medical colleges of Maharashtra. You share your room with 2 others .The room is spacious enough for you to spend few years of your life with comfort and ease. Now , the most important thing that you have here is that our mess is in the same building.

Admission

I had always wanted to become a doctor, right from primary School. I was pretty sure of it. I remember going for my NEET exam. My hands were cold and I was under a lot of stress. But just as the paper started, I became very calm and focused on the paper, disregarding consequences of not clearing the exam. This feature has stayed with me, to this very day, during every exam I have faced. I'm very composed and calm once the paper starts. MBBS was great fun. I remember my first day in college. My happiness and elation was boundless

Faculty

3

The faculty members here are very approachable as they reside on the same campus in which you stay and are always ready to help. Our course teachers are very good. They are teaching, apart from the syllabus, and are very useful. Semester exam questions are almost covered in the syllabus. The pass percentage is 40%. Exams are very well conducted by our faculty members. Sometimes exams are difficult to write, but you get lots of experience

Curriculum is highly planned and very vast. Regular revision is necessary to caver all subjects. All subjects are taught with high practical basis hence ensuring exposure and preparing for real life exposure. Teaching could be more consise and logic based. Main exams are every 2 to 3 months with difficulty slightly higher in term 2 than term 1.
