Likes

Environment of the campus which is well maintained.
Sanitation and hygiene in the college is proper

Management in some things is a bit poor and slow

Course Curriculum Overview

The course for different departments is decided prior as in which month which units should be completed and also time to time syllabus check also by the class teachers and the academic coordinator and also have doubt session

Internships Opportunities

The university also provide on campus internship in summer break and if any student is interested for outside can apply for them also and complete from there in which the outside internships are well checked firstly.

Placement Experience

Placement get started in the last sem of 3rd year and in 4th year and students also apply for off campus and get placed for which college also helps alot. I'm preparing myself for the placement only and collect helps me in this

Fees and Financial Aid

I paid rs 220000 per year including examination fees. In this fees many students get scholarship by many ways like taking test, different quota and all . The fees for my batchmate is also same. Quota reservation like for sports, caste etc.

Campus Life

My overall experience in the. Campus is pretty good as it is providing all the facilities and also in a well managed way and if any student facing any issue they help for them also . Timely sports and extra curricular activities held in the university

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities are also well as they are providing food on time . And sanitation and hygiene is also good and managed as they provide daily room cleaners and also have proper medical facilities . Registration is not too hard

Admission

I choose this college as it shows it has 100 percent placement of the students for which they work very hard. I also get selected for other colleges too like lovely professional University and Amity University.

Faculty

Facilities are well knowledged and have abundance of knowledge. Ratio properly no idea but enough teacher are there for students. I liked my maths teacher as he teaches very well and clear all doubts. Two mid semester conducted and at end end semester exams are conducted and are of average level

The curriculum changes as per the need of the industry norms so that student can attain knowledge about the basics as well as the niche technologies.This is the aspect to choose the course and the lab work and continuous competitions help us with the industry trends. The management could be improved. The frequency of exams help us learn well and difficulty is between easy to medium.

Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good but I am more looking towards offcampus placements. I will do internships from my second year and in first year I'll make the base. I contacted to some of the seniors they said doing hardwork will definitely lead to a good package.

Placement Experience:

After 4 semester students are eligible for sitting in placements. There are alot of company visiting and alot of them take 2-3 with really good package and some handful with good enough packages of nearly10 lpa and the highest package was i think of in last month was of around 60 lpa . My plans after getting a degree is too work my way through companies to a FAANG Companies

From the second year itself students are eligible for campus placements and the companies right now visited are more than 80 + like Amazon Google Microsoft etc the highest package right now in our college 2.5 crore right now as a fresher more than 80% are getting placements which I can I can see and many used to start they own startups and get success in their field as help you teachers them and give them opportunity to learn and do startups and my plan after getting a degree is if you get a placement and huge packages and get a experience from them and to start my own business

My imperfectly perfect College life reviewed for everyone who needs it

Placement Experience:

Though when I got admission in this college, I saw the placement rates were very nice, around 95%, but maybe it was our session's fault. I passed out in 2024, and in that particular year, the placements were not as expected and as seen in the previous batch, so that was something very much disappointing because I paid so much money on a degree, only everything was good about the college, but in the end, placement matters during my session. Usually, the companies that hired for example, 10 students only hired two students.

I didn't apply to any other college. I chose it because it was close to my home. The admission process to give CUCAT exam for which the fees is 1000 rupees. The passing marks are 40 out of 100.
