Course Curriculum Overview

i had an huge intrest is this course and having Botany as my strong subject , thats why i chose this course. the exams are held on 3 month basis and the difficulty level is very high and very tough for every student.

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 50000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee for the course i am currently doing is 50k for the first 2 years and then upto 15k per semester. They currently dont provide any scholarship or financial aids for the students. My batch mates also have the same fee structure.

Campus Life

the campus experience have been harsh at first, but then you get adjust to it, you make new friends. they also hold various programs in different fields. they also use latest technology in class rooms like smart classes.

Admission

i chose this college over other colleges because the course i am pursuing is only available in this college and the infrastructure is much better than other colleges. the admission process is as simple as in other colleges.

Faculty

They faculty members are good at their thing but when any student has any problem they dont take care of that. The college have various types of course , the one i am currently pursuing has 10 semesters in total. the marking scheme is CGPA

Overall a good University with below average placements.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placemnt after third year. total 8 companies from local Food and beverage companies and agriculture related companie came for campus placements. Most of the student didnt take offers from the companies because none of the companies were offering more than 15k to 18k per month I also didnt take the placement offer for the same reason and now i am thinking for further studies from somewhere that have good placements Out of 23 students who were eligible for placements only 3 accepted the offer.

GOVT M.A.M COLLEGE,JAMMU : A Success path to life

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose science-non medical subjects being MATHS, GEOGRAPHY, and GEOLOGY. Reasons are my interest and love for these subjects. Class students and teachers ratio is good: 40-1. Teachers' qualifications are also good: MSc, Ph.D., NET qualified. Our exams were semester-wise [once in six months]. it was easy to pass if you just study normal and attend classes.

Remarks:

A Good College Even though the college life seems like a fairy-tale to you, it is not. There are so many things that you have to be careful about when you are visiting a college and checking out its ambience. Don’t get influenced by the clean campuses that most of the colleges have; they purposely do it so that people like you get attracted to their appearance and join their team. If you don’t want to waste your hard earned money on the fees of the wrong college which spoils your fairy-tale dream, you might want to take admission in a college that’s good enough for students like you.
