Course Curriculum Overview

About the curriculum of bachelors of engineering in computer science, it offers a great knowledge of technology and programming languages as well as technical subjects. Also offers better placements opportunities in technical field.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 180000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internship opportunities will be provided after completion of second year during the period some certified trainings are also their from the online platforms such as Coursera. Internship opportunities are i the companies like Amazon,Flipkart, Microsoft, etc..

Placement Experience

Placements of the college are decent not very good and not bad also. But still competition is very difficult as their is almost 4-5k students in placement batch but trainings are offered by the university for placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

Current admission fee for bachelors of engineering is 1,32,000 per semester excluding examination fee which is 2500 per semester. Scholarship is also available for that you have to give cucet exam. Which is of 2 hrs and provide scholarships upto 100% on tution fees.

Campus Life

Campus Life is pretty good. You will be experiencing good concert nights, fun in the college, events, opportunity to see famous singers and celebrities as well. Infrastructure is very good you would see a professional infrastructure of the university.

Admission

Because of the infrastructure, management, course curriculum, placement stats. Admission process is based upon the scores of jee mains or you also apply directly on the university website. As it is a private university so no worries.

Faculty

Faculties are well educated and experienced, also very cooperative with the students. Exams are held 3 times in a semester that is mid semester 1, after a month mid semester 2, then end sem that is finals after completion of practicals.

Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good but I am more looking towards offcampus placements. I will do internships from my second year and in first year I'll make the base. I contacted to some of the seniors they said doing hardwork will definitely lead to a good package.

Placement Experience:

After 4 semester students are eligible for sitting in placements. There are alot of company visiting and alot of them take 2-3 with really good package and some handful with good enough packages of nearly10 lpa and the highest package was i think of in last month was of around 60 lpa . My plans after getting a degree is too work my way through companies to a FAANG Companies

My imperfectly perfect College life reviewed for everyone who needs it

Placement Experience:

Though when I got admission in this college, I saw the placement rates were very nice, around 95%, but maybe it was our session's fault. I passed out in 2024, and in that particular year, the placements were not as expected and as seen in the previous batch, so that was something very much disappointing because I paid so much money on a degree, only everything was good about the college, but in the end, placement matters during my session. Usually, the companies that hired for example, 10 students only hired two students.

I didn't apply to any other college. I chose it because it was close to my home. The admission process to give CUCAT exam for which the fees is 1000 rupees. The passing marks are 40 out of 100.
