Review of CU

It is pretty relevant, and they make you placement ready through their different courses and workshop, there is holistic development happening as there is provision for co-curricular activitie, but the frequency of exams is very high, you won't get sufficient time for other activities.

There are internship opportunities given in college, in internal departments and external companies also but only after 2nd year and there is a certain treshhold you need to cross in terms of stipend they only they will allow you to do internships.

You become eligible from 5th sem for campus placement. All the companies visit here which visits other colleges like NITs and IITs. 90% of the students get placed who opt for placements. The average package is around 3 lakhs but some packages range around 40 50 lakhs

The yearly fee structure for my course is 240000 without scholarship, but you could easily grab a scholarship if you have good score in 12th exams and it will get reduced but there is a strict criteria to follow which is 7.5 CGPA, if not your scholarship will be cancelled.

It is the most exciting part of this university as there is events neraly every week and big starts keep coming here. The technology is also very good in classrooms, there is ac and projector. This university puts focus in extracurricular and co-curricular activities very much and also provied scholarship on basis of that.

The facility is goood, the food is average and provided 4 times a day non-veg 2 times a week. The 4 seater rooms were originally 3 seater theta why it feels a little congested. But the 5 seater rooms are good they provide table chair bed almirah.

I applied in UPES, Dehradun but the fees was pretty high and Chandigarh University seemed perfect to me according to my needs and location. I don't regret my descision ans this university has given me a lot of exposure and has made me ready for anything.

The faculty members are relatively inexperienced and are like parrots who only speaks what they have memorised but some of them are good who have actual knowledge. There are 2 Mid sem exams and 1 end sem exam.
