This college is a place where a lot can be learnt if one is determined and interested to add it had the highest number of people visiting the OPD every day in the whole East Godavari District. The college is rated very highly
Course Curriculum Overview
There are 11 semesters in all including a year of compulsory internship in the hospital attached to the hospital. Depending on the different universities to which s college may be affiliated, different exam patterns are seen. RMC conducts 3 internal examinations and one final over a course of 2 semesters.
Placement Experience
A doctor in his compulsory internship gets a stipend of about 18,000 a year as of year 2018-19. The experience is tiring as the duty can be during the day or night depending on the ward in which one is working.
College Events
Freshers day A 2 week long cultural festival in which all the students of the college participate in the different events ranging from reading to writing to singing A sports week in which the different batches compete against each other for the ultimate trophy
Fee Structure And Facilities
It being a government college is funded by the government and hence the fees is extremely less and is only about 10,000 a year. It does not include hostel accommodation or mess fees which is separate and about 4000 a month
Fees and Financial Aid
For the people that need a scholarship, it is provided to the locals mostly who cannot afford the fees of college or hostel or the mess or all the three. It is given upon filling a form and showing an income receipt of the guardian of the student.
Campus Life
Labs are well equipped with the required goods and excellent lab technicians. The college has a basketball court, gym, 3 tennis courts, 3 volleyball courts, an indoor badminton court, 3 indoor table tennis tables.
Alumni/Alumna
Seniors may be helpful if you get to know them. Being a doctor always needs contacted add you may never know where you may need whom. A strong alumni network is set up by the name of RAMCOSA. Annual alumni meets are set up.
Faculty
The faculty is good and everybody is a post grad in their respective fields. They are helpful if you have doubts that need to be cleared. The classes are conducted by different teachers for different topics
