Course Curriculum Overview
It provides with a BBALLB honors which balances business administration with legal knowledge. There should be more optional courses and subjects. The exam timings are decent and the difficulty level of paper is moderate.
Internships Opportunities
The college brings internship opportunities for the students. Recently I got the chance to intern at a tier 1 law firm in New Delhi, i.e., Jyoti Sagar Associates. It was a great learning experience. I worked on various projects and case laws.
Placement Experience
Final year students are eligible for campus placements. As the Law department is newly opened, there is no direct placement. We have to go through internships and there after assessment internships to grab the PPO. Till now some of the alumni of the law department have placed in tier 1 law firm which is a very good sign about the placement cell of law school.
Fees and Financial Aid
We have two semesters in a year. Each semester we have to pay tuition fees of Rs 80000. The Caution fee was Rs 15000 and the registration fees was Rs 500. In alternate semesters we pay Rs 3000 as health insurance along with our tuition fees. We have scholarship system of 10% to 25% based on our 10th and 12th board marks.
Campus Life
The campus is very lively. Regularly there are fests, cultural events and sports events altogether. Our college also sponsor students to take part in various other competitions organised by other universities and institutions.
Hostel Facilities
We have double occupancy and triple occupancy in our hostel. We have laundry services available. Also we have washing machine, microwave and water filter and tv in our hostel. Apart from it we have a common room in each floor which have table tennis.
Admission
The course fee was less as compared to other universities of equal standards and it was providing a 5 yrs BBALLB course which I wanted to persue, along with that it was a new university with the tag of Birla and the growth rate was nice.
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio is decent. We have all UGC net qualified faculties. They are very experienced in their respective fields. We like most of the law faculties because they are very approachable. We have two exams per semester i.e., mid term and end term and each constitute of 50 marks and the difficulty level is moderate.
