Sometimes the wifi ,mobile network, projectors doesn't work in some rooms
Internal examination system is not at all good

Course Curriculum Overview

The exam criteria, moot court facilities, faculties influenced me to choose this course in this college. College provides moot experiences,library facility with Manu Patra service. Improvement is needed in attendance criteria

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 145800 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Tuition fee -64100/- Examination fee- 3300/- Library fee- 2750/- Student activity fee- 2750/- Total - 72900/- For 5years course 729000/- Till now in upto 9th sem I paid 656100/- only 72900/- is due for next sem. There is no difference for SC ST OBC categories. Scholarship is given on Auat entrance exam & scoring 9cgpa overall a semester..

Campus Life

There are lot of events programs activities are organised by the campus. They have organising committees for such. They have clubs such as music, dance,film, sports innovation,robot, entrepreneurship. The college encourages sports indoor and outdoor. They have football team.

Admission

I applied for Amity University, St Xavier's University other than this college but I cracked Auat so I took admission here. While in Amity University I didn't appear for the online interview as I already took admission here. In St Xavier's University I got rejected in the online exam. Adamas University have their own entrance Auat. They also prefer CLAT, LSAT,CAT

Faculty

Overall faculties are knowledgeable experienced have the ability to teach students with patience & by providing study materials. There are 1 end term conducted in every Semester with having internals which is marked by assignments, attendance, viva, practicals,class test.

A holistic experience: my journey at CFI college of Law

Course Curriculum Overview:

I'd say the BBA LLB curriculam si quite relevent and comprehensive. the blend of business management and legal studies really made me choose this course because it gives a holistic understanding of both fields. The curriculum is pretty practical and prepares us well for real- world applications like internships and moot courts and also sets a strong foundation dor further studies in law. In term of Imporvements i think the curruculum could benefit from more interactive workshops and practical training sessions and somtimes a bit more hands on experience and indusry exposure help bridge the gap between thoery and practice. Regarding exams, I find the frequency and timing are well balanced. the semester exams come at a good pace and whike some subjects can be challenging they are definately manageable with consisnent study.

My honest experience of my collage life

Course Curriculum Overview:

In my collage courses curriculum conduct by Calcutta university, every collage who affiliated with Calcutta university follow Calcutta university curriculum. I choosen BA LLB because in ba llb every semester you learn new law subject and they help you better understand because you have five year times you can learn every law subject very breifly way. I think the curriculum of my law subject is enough to prepare me for real world application because you read every law subject who is important for your real world experience that is the reason i choose this course. I think they need to change repetive topic in semester because of tenure of course i repeated few topic of my subject i think they need to change the few topic of subject they are so repeated. Every year two semester exam i give and semester season is june and December , in june semester exam student have very less time to prepare for exam i think this is a difficult for students for prepare exam in a short time.

Handbook to carry in TIU

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I am a student of BBA LLB. Tab management subjects makes a mess for me there are 7 subjects in management which I think doesn't have any applications in the real world and its like I heavy load to us in our curriculum but in speaking of the law subjects there are hard subjects but frequency in the timings of the classes make it very easy and allows us to perform well in the exams

Placement Experience:

My college has a 98% placement rate. As I'm in 2nd year, I haven't been placed yet, but as I look at my seniors, they are definitely well placed. The average package ranges from 3.5LPA - 3.8LPA. The highest package was 36LPA reported in 2024-2025.

Heritage Law College is Lovely!!

Placement Experience:

Number of students who have been placed is far less than what it should be ideally. Kolkata is a paradise for law practice as it is the largest city of India and lawyers have always been in demand here. Still only 30% of the students are placed here and that's a big issue considering the name of our college.

My experience in Heritage Law College

Course Curriculum Overview:

The main thing that I love about the curriculum is that we need to study in depth. Our syllabus contains most basic to really professional level stuff which really help us prepare for real life experiences and further academic pursuits. The only change i would like is more practical experiences that would be helpful.

Heritage Law College is a heritage of legal studies!

Placement Experience:

In the final year when some law firms and legal houses of Calcutta High Court approach our college for placements. If one gets at top law firm them the packages are around 8-10 lakhs but if under a lawyer the salary is just 2-3 lakhs a year.

If they can take regular class test that will help us in subject. Exam timing are not that much good. If they add outdoor games that will help students for relaxation. Syllabus should be updated because our syllabus system is not up-to-date with new law system

I had applied to IEM kolkata, The Neotia University and brainware university simultaneously. I chose this college due to the excellent placements. I didn't take admission to IEM kolkata as the fees were really high. Also, i didnt take admission in The Neotia University and brainware university due to their not-so-efficient placements.
