What Students Say

Likes

Events and fests- the quality of events and festivals in this university is amazing many bollywood singers and stars visit here
Big campus- size of campus is very vast lot of food resturants chain are opened inside the campus
Air conditioned classrom-ACs are available at every class which is most important in summer days many colleges is locality does not have this facility

Dislikes

Some courses are far from main campus-courses like BBA and BCA are far from the main campus this is a bad thing of students like us
The behaviour of HODS and teachers-they sometimes make you feel very bad beacuse of the language and their actions
Placements-placements are very less as actually claimed by the university half of the students did not gets placed

Course Curriculum Overview

This course is helping me to learn buisness skills and,communication skills and learning to develop more skills the course should be more technical then thoery i believe management is a think which needs to be done practical not theoretical The time for mst are 1 hours and final exams is of 3 hours

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 420000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internship are provided in 2 and 3 year after summer semester for 45 days internships are mainly provided at Chandigarh or mohali the stipend during internship are around 10-15 thousand no company visit for internship either you talk to the placement cell aur apply for internship at your own

Placement Experience

Campus placements are around 50-60% students with high cgpa are placed after the PI Average package of bba is around 3-4 lakhs If campus placement is not provided you can easily apply for companies in mohali and Chandigarh

Fees and Financial Aid

I will pay 60000 rs per semester i have got 30% scholarship from the university scholarship exam called cucet Otherwise the total tution fees without any exemtion is 78000 per semester CUCET Percentage of fees waiver 40-49.99 marks-15% scholarship 50-50.99 marks-25% scholarship 60-60.99 marks -30% scholarship 70-70.99 marks-40% scholarship 80-90 marks- 50% scholarship 90.01-100 marks-100% scholarship

Campus Life

There are many events hosted by the clubs and students are free to join clubs as they wish which also provied various certification you can go to club activities by applying duty leave which helps in attendance relief

Admission

I firstly applied in doon buisness school but i did not like the admission department but i was selected after the PI i rejected LPU because of the behaviour of admission cell also i choose CU because it was not very much far away from my hometown as compared to other 2 colleges

Faculty

The staff of the college is not well behaved at all i belive the staff is bias towards the local students of punjab the others students all the performance dances are punjabi only and the this is my main conern

A good campus.

Placement Experience:

There is a subject called TPP in which the student is allowed to attend placement drives in their colleges. It includes verbal and aptitude. More than 500 companies visit my college and offer 6lacs to 10lacs per annum to the deserving candidates.

Lovely Professional University’s Truth!!

Placement Experience:

The campus placements here are good. Many of my batchmates have been placed. Students become eligible for placements after second year. Many companies have visited here and offered job roles in different fields like sales, operation, lead generation etc. Packages offered ranges from 10lpa to 4 lpa. And the average package is 5 lpa. There is an option if you dont want to chose placement services. Mostly students who have opted for placements services have been placed and the rest will also be placed soon. My plan is to pursue MBA after the completion of my degree.

Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

I didn't apply to any other college. I chose it because it was close to my home. The admission process to give CUCAT exam for which the fees is 1000 rupees. The passing marks are 40 out of 100.
