Course Curriculum Overview

3

the course curriculum does a good job of mixing theory with practical learning, which was one of the main reasons i chose this program. It covers important topics and includes projects that help connect what we learn to real-life situations . The focus on new technologies and problem-solving has helped me gain useful skills for both my career and future studies.

Internships Opportunities

4

At NMIMS, the internship opportunities are quite diverse and industry-focused. The university has strong connections with top companies, offering a range of internships across different fields. Some of the main companies are: Deloitte J.P. Morgan HDFC Bank

Placement Experience

4

The placements at my college are quite strong, with many well-known companies visiting the campus regularly. The college has a dedicated placement cell that provides support in terms of resume buliding, interview preparation and connecting students with potential employers. Students in my college are eligible from third semester onwards. Companies like goldman sachs, infoedge make offers.

Fees and Financial Aid

total fees per annum- 350000 development- 57000 other fees- 94000 tuition fees- 193000 security (only for the first year)=6000 fees for other courses under the same school bcom: 250000 bsc finance: 275000

Campus Life

3

My overall experience with campus life has been very positive. The social environment is lively, with plenty of opportunities to make friends and participate in various activities. There are numerous clubs and societies that cater to different interests, from cultural and sports clubs to academic and tech groups, which have made it easy t get involved and meet like minded people. College Fests- vaayu many other events like aranya, neev, waves, serene snap etc.

Admission

i chose this college over others because of its strong reputation for peactical, hands on learningand its industry connections. Compared to the other colleges I applied to, this one offered a more flexible curriculum with more focus on real-world applications, which stood out to me. I also applied for christ bangalore and symbiosis pune and even got selected but NMIMS was on my top priority list.

Faculty

3

Total- 100 marks Internals and externals 50 each 1 external exam of 50 marks(end semester exam) internal consists of 1 mid-semester exam of 20 marks and rest includes presentations, projects etc. faculty to student ratio is 1:60 some faculties are highly approachable while some are not liked: Dr. Siddharth, Ms. Khushboo, Mr. Hrushikesh Panaskar, there are 2 main exams the end semester is much more difficult due to vast syllabus and no time for preparation as most of the time before the exam is taken up by internals like projects.

Placement Experience:

Placement cell is quite good. Students are eligible for placement in their last semester of course. There are many great companies that come like JP MORGAN, EY, KPMG. Average package of the college is 5-6 lacs but there are high packages according to the skills of the student. I'd like to go for master's after BMS. Different kind of roles are there for students to apply according to their interests in all the fields like finance, marketing, HR, consulting. There is training provided by the college for placemens and there is personal training for individual company interviews if required by students.
