4 Best Years of Life

I have a learned a lot from my college. I'm developed as a man from a small town boy. I got exposure of real life, responsibilities and suffered the real life problems that are necessary for every individual for their better development.

The Course was of 4 years. The course was divided in 8 semesters 2 in a year. Each year had 5 main subjects. We had mid semester exams and one final exam. The first was common for all engineering Branch and was to give a glimpse of what engineering is all about. It was also to let students decided if they have selected their branch of interest and if not, they can switch to different one.

My college is ranked 5th amongst the top colleges of Indore. There was not a lot of Job opportunities but still sufficient for the talented ones. The competition was huge and we had to struggled a lot to get the placement right.

Every year we celebrated Freshers Party, Annual Event, Tech fest and many other small events. Every year seniors welcomes the New comers via a small party, whose main objective is to interaction between senior and juniors.

The fee structure was quite high in time and was the second most expensive engineering college in Indore. The annual fees was around INR 90,000. However, I had to only around INR 20,000 as Turion fee waiver student.

The scholarship was available for Backward caste students which is around 50-60% of tution fees, which was quite a good amount. Besides these top 5 students from each branch was provided with Tution fee waiver scholarship which waived the tution fee and has to pay only other college expenses like bus and library fees.

As per the engineering branch, the college has all types of labs that includes computer lab, chemistry lab, physics lab, Mechanical lab and Automobile lab. Besides these years events related to respective branches are scheduled to promote the Knowledge and talent.

I didn't had opted for Hostel facility. However the hostel is inbuilt inside the college campus and has a capacity for around Students. The college also has a large cantene and a stationery shop that is run by third party.

Each year Alumini's and Senior Students are invited to Share their knowledge of their work Experience and how life is after college. The Alumini's are helpful in guiding students for future studies and opportunities available after engineering.

I got the admission via Pre-Engineering Test i.e. PET. I secured 100 marks in PET and selected Mechanical engineering branch. I was able to mark my Name in Tution fee waiver, so I didn't had to pay Tution Fees but only other expenses like Bus and library fees.

The college has quite good faculty structure. In my time most of the faculties had 3-4 years of experience only. While some senior faculties had more than 10 years of experience too. Generally there was one faculty for each Subject.
